I'm not a doctor, but you need to feed the baby, and you do that by eating. If you're not eating, well, the baby could starve. That being said, the baby is bigger now and has less room to move around. Go lay down on your left side and see if the baby moves. I think the count is supposed to be at least 10 movements within 2 hours. If not, call your Doctor.

Have you been to the doctor?
Think about it....if you don't eat, the baby don't eat and chances for still born is extremely high.
You should have had your sonogram by now and be going to the doctor quite often to make sure everything is okay.
Anorexia is a serious issue pregnant or not, not only can it kill your baby but will eventually kill you if you don't get help.
I suggest getting to a hospital ASAP and find out what needs to be done....your baby should be very active right now.

Are you seeing a doctor on a regular basis? They can tell you if your baby is alive or not by checking the heartbeat. Of course anorexia can kill the baby. You need to eat good nutritious food to keep the baby healthy.
Go see your doctor, you should be very concerned if you are at 7 months and haven't felt the baby move yet.

Yes, anorexia can kill your baby. The body will definitely take care of the baby first, then the mother. But if there are no nutrients for baby, he/she can become extremely ill. What has your OB said about baby?? What were the ultrasounds like?? If the baby hasn't moved then something is not right.

anorexia is EXTREMELY dangerous for the baby. while in your body, the baby gets vital nutrients from the foods that you eat. if you do not eat a well balanced diet or if you dont eat at all, your baby is getting the same thing. the baby has no way to get what he/she needs without feeding off of you. it is VERY possible that the baby will have serious health problems if not dead by this point.

Yes.
Prenatal support stresses that moms-to-be should treat their bodies (and their babies) with care. Active anorexia or bulimia presents a clear risk.
Research seems to indicate that eating disorders are associated with low birth weight and premature birth, which are correlated with many serious problems. Examples include low IQ, cerebral palsy and failure to thrive in the baby's first year.
Other potential problems include stillbirth and greater chance of Cesarean birth.
There are many risks associated with having an Eating Disorder, including malnutrition, electrolyte imbalances (that can lead to kidney failure, heart attack and death), vitamin deficiencies and dehydration -- all of which can be extremely dangerous to a developing fetus and can lead to its death. The baby that grows inside you needs to be provided with enough nutrition and a safe environment to flourish.

okay....12 hours ago you asked if your husband beating you could harm the baby and now you have anorexia. It seems that you have many problems going on. I sure hope you have been seeing your doctor on a regular basis. You should be feeling your baby move quite often by now.

My daughter never moved I went in for many stress tests and everytime the she moved the stress test showed and they had me push a button when I could feel it. You know she moved a lot and I never felt any of them unless she got the hiccups. I'm sure everthing is fine...Good Luck and Congrats

are you saying that you are anorexic??
i don't know for sure, but i do know that if the baby can't get proper nourishment from the mother, then it may die from malnourishment. that's why it's vital for the mom to maintain a healthy diet.
take care and i'd ask the dr about your baby not moving.
