I have two questions but I will put them together if you dont mind.
1. My child is 2 yeas and 6 months old. I am trying to get him potty trained, but he has a speech delayment so its hard for me to tell him when he wants to go potty. I already tried the knock on the door whenever I put him on the potty and I always say "lets go potty" or "wanna go pee pee". I put him on the potty at home, and daycare puts him on the potty throughout the day. And its been 2 months now, and there is no progress at all. Does anyone have tips or anything please? I do not know what to do.
2. Does anyone else have problems getting their child to talk? He doesnt have a hearing problem, because we already got him tested for that and I can see he doesnt have a hearing loss. I always talk to him and say the words repeatedly to him and he is in daycare all day. He is an only child and for the first two years I kept him home with me. Did that screw up his speech by not being around other kids?or something else?

My three month old has a cold in her eye. It has those nasty goobers in it and stuff. But it isn't pink like pink eye, but then again it just started in the middle of the night.
So if i take her to the er will they give her something or will they make it run the course.

so i got my period on the 21st. december and its my 2nd period ever and today is the 24th last night i guess i had an average period and i just had a shower 15 minutes ago and nothing has come straight away... so do you think it will be gone by tommorow? and also...umm i know the usual that u get ur period every 28 days but do you count from the first day it started or the day it ended?

well ive had a few scares with my 8 week old twins in their crib one of them keeps pulling blankets over her face last time she did it by the time i found her she was pale and scared me to death you see ive already lost my first son to sids so i took all of the blankets out of the crib and doubled up on their jammies but i also have a pillow under the crib mattress because the have colds and they are lessstuffed up when they wake in the morning being at a slant like that well they arent stuffed up and they are warm but now they slide to the bottom of the crib once i saw one of them had her feet out between the bars and this morning they were both sideways against thebars i have sleep positioners for them but they moved with the baby how do i keep them from moveing with out the blankets and with out takeing their pillow out from under the matress?

My Aunt just had a baby last night. She did not see a doctor the entire pregancy and on all type of drugs also. The baby is not doing too good and going through withdraw along with herself. I am not sure what they do in these cases. She also has 4 other kids at home with nothing for Christmas. What I want to know is do they take the child/children from her? Will they allow her family to help and take one of the kids if they do get put in foster care? I am willing to take the baby but not sure what I should do or how to go about it! The father is in the picture but he says he was not aware of her doing!

I have just got out my box of Christmas crackers ready for tomorrow.The box didn't quite look right.On closer inspection I discover that my 6 yr old son has twisted open every single one,removed the gift,hat and joke and then twisted them back together so they look the same on the outside.I am furious,I mean really out of proportion furious! Don't get me wrong I can see the humour in it,but after a year of unremmiting misery caused by this boy's behaviour it's just the last straw.Don't really want to do Christmas at all now.

My 18 month old is just getting over stomach flu and being on antibiotics from strep throat. She can not tolerate milk right now...it gives her bad diarrhea...but she cries and cries for it. I read that kids can sometimes be sensitive for up to a week after an illness...any alternatives suggested? I was looking into soy products or lactaid milk?

I have no children as of yet but I plan on having a family in another few years or so. I don't want to be a working mom, I know that I want to be a stay-at-home mom and see my kids grow every step of the way. Can you tell me how you like being a full-time mother? And it was'nt rape (altho it automatically was statutory rape). Now, i know this kinda stuff has been goin on for a LOOONG time now. Hello-
My daughter received her first dose of the flu shot without any problems. We got her booster on Thurs and she has been running fevers and vomiting (yesterday morning and this morning). The fevers have finally started to break after doses of the Tylenol and Ibuprofen every 3 hour regimen. Her fevers are still running around 100, however she is teething.

Have your children had any similar symptoms??
Is this common after a booster of a flu shot?

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

My fiance seems to get edgy most of the time. How can I avoid that without getting upset at him back? I really don't care for moody men, but I am deeply in love with him and just needing to know how can I deal with it better, especially in front of the children, his daughter is 16 and my son is 11? It really upsets her when we argue if front of her and my son. Obviously her dad doesn't care, but I most certaintly do.
