Lactaid may cause more problems than it is worth. Have you tried watering down the milk to a half and half mix, powdered milk or even rice milk?
I went through this often myself after rounds of antibiotics but my reaction became full-time. When my son went through this it lasted for 6 months. If it doesn't go away within the next week an allergy test might be in order. Sometime illness can bring allergies to the surface.

Try Vanilla flavored Soy Milk or Chocolate Soy Milk I suggest the brand SILK- both taste really good and they won't cause any tummy trouble.

My youngest can't drink milk at all. She can drink Lactaid and rice milk. Rice milk is sweeter than soy milk and tastes much better.

Try soy milk products, they are better for a toddler than lactaid. As a treat since she's sick, you could even do something creamy but non-dairy like YooHoo.

The best milk to give is the organic milk. It takes out all the hormones and other crap they inject cows with.. Its way easier on babies/toddlers etc stomachs. So go with organic, Soy milk is WAY to nasty
