I have heard that some woman's breasts do not go back to normal but stay huge after having a baby. I am not happy about that, seeing as my boobs are huge and disgusting right now!! Thanks and Happy Holidays....

Wow....Hi honey. Huge and disgusting are not two words that usually go together when women are talking about their breasts! I am not sure how to answer your question. When your milk comes in your breasts are going to be larger for a few days but then they will settle down to normal. When it is time to feed your baby you will feel full tho your breasts will not actually be any bigger. When you wean your baby, especially if you do it gradually, your breasts will go back to their normal size and shape. Many women say that their breasts are somewhat softer after having and nursing a baby but it is a small price to pay for the wonderful gift of your precious baby.
Please don't let this worry stop you from nursing your baby. Breastfeeding is SO important to your baby and it is good for you too. Many times all you hear are the benefits to the baby but it does many good things for the mother too. It helps you get your figure back sooner. You will burn up around 1000 calories a day by totally breastfeeding your baby.
If for some reason you decide not to nurse, please at least let your baby nurse for the first few days so that he or she will get the colosturm. This vitamin and mineral rich substance that your body produces before milk comes in will provide your baby with all the immunity to infections that you have. All the immunities that it has taken you your whole life to achieve. You will protect him from SO many illnesses and he will not come down with all the colds and other things that babies can get. If you continue to nurse him it is very unlikely that she (or he) will be sick during the time that you are nursing him.
Sorry for the info on nursing, talking about breasts just got me started!
Take care and enjoy your pregnancy and your precious baby!
Love and Blessings

The answer is that there's no telling.

Some breastless women get breasts for the first time when they become pregnant. Afterwards they may keep them or they may disappear completely.

Others who had breasts before pregnancy find that after pregnancy they disappear and they're flat-chested.

Others with breasts before pregnancy find they get larger and stay larger.

No way to tell in advance.

Most men prefer large breasts anyway.

Mine stayed huge for as long as I was breastfeeding. I went from a B to a DD then back to a B after I stopped breastfeeding. So, they stay huge and disgusting for a while, then the swelling goes away some, then they'll deflate soon enough.

Mine never went back to normal...they were 2 sizes bigger than before I got pregnant. So therefore I started my 2nd pregnancy off huge, and now that I'm nursing our 2nd baby, I look like a sleep deprived porn star.

It depends. I have a friend whose boobs grew a cup after each baby, while mine seemed to disappear after each baby! We both breastfed, so that wasn't a factor in it either. It's all a matter of how your body works!

I know exactly what you mean!! Mine when back to normal after giving birth, however I did not breast feed. If you are gonna, your breast probably won't go back until you stop.

i lost a whole cup size after i had my children and by the way they do not sag. if you take care of them and do not go braless while the weight of the milk is in there you should not have problem with sagging.
