I can't believe it.. I'm 13 and a proud virgin.. I believe that you should know what you're getting into before you have a baby.. Plus I enjoy kids, I babysit, but I would never want to be burdened with the responsibilities of raising a child.. I have goals in my life!!!
My 27 year old cousin had her daughter when she was 15.. And she missed out on her teenage years just because she made a stupid decision. Luckily her Mom was really supportive and raised her, so my cousin is almost like her grandma's daughter, because her grandma let her Mom enjoy being a teenager.. I really respect my cousin, shes become a really mature person and is a wonderful human being.. She's gotten herself a career and gone back to college, as well as raising her daughter.. She's also remarried and has 2 little boys..
I believe she's a better person because of it, but that's not saying I think everyone should go out and get pregnant to become a better person.. I think we are all warned and if we don't have the sense to stay away from sex then, all we can do it support the young mom.. It's really very sad..

The world isn't what it used to be sadly! It's crazy out there, but there's a lot of people now a days with no common sense!
I am 16 years old and have not had sex with my boyfriend and it sickens me how girls 4-3 years younger are getting pregnant!

When I got pregnant with my oldest(6) i was 23 and I thought that was a good age. I had a lot of complications and was in the hospital for 5 weeks. My son was born 2 1/2 months early and only weighed 2 pounds 10 ounces. I would sit and wonder what I did wrong and why girls who are 13/14 years old can have kids with out any problems. I realized after I had my son the hard part for me was my pregnancy where as the hard part for the girls was to give up their freedom since I had already had my fun it didn't matter to me.
Then to prevent my niece who is now 13 from thinking about having kids I let her stay up all night and all day with my 2 year old when he came home from the hospital. I explained to her how hard it is to take care of a newborn and she has vowed not to have sex until she was ready to take care of a child since it really only takes once.

Well, there is a girl on here, her name is '13 year old PROUD single Mom' who has a baby, and is pregnant again at 13. You could always e mail her and ask her questions.
But don't get me started on BABIES having babies, because I get reported every time for stating how disgusting it is. When a little girl lays down consensually and has sex and gets pregnant, there is something REALLY wrong with not only the little girl, but her PARENTS!! I really think that these parents need to be held accountable for their children's actions, especially at this young of an age. WHERE ARE THE VALUES AND MORALS? And why are there soooo many people out here that continue to sugar coat this issue and make it seem like it is okay. The more 'loving' advice that people give them ( the pregnant babies ) the more these LITTLE GIRLS think it is okay and accepted to do this. It really is sickening!!

It is crazy how so many young girls feel like it is their duty to have kids at a young age. They need to stop because as soon as they tell the boy they pregneant they are nowhere to be found and some parents kick them out of the house. Another thing that is just so bad is that a 12 year old was on the Maury show looking for her baby's father. That makes no sense at all. A lot of people who had babies at a young age try to tell the them that it isn't worth it and that they need to wait!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep Im totally with you on this one! At 12 years old I had no idea what sex even was never mind actually doing it!!!! And yes- these guys do totally need to be locked up! Tell me- what about a 123 year old little girl can possibly turn on a grown man? Its not only wrong its discusting! Thats why I loved watching to catch a predator on tv. They set up guys over the net like they were talking to 12 and 13 year olds and busted them! it was awesome!!!!! Little girls need to stay little girls while they can! Theres plenty of time for love and sex later.

That age is too young to be getting pregnant, but not to young to be horny. If the male in this case is also 12/13, then how is the boy sick? When I was 12, I lusted for 12 year old girls. Did that make me a perv? No...it made me normal.

Even if both agreed to do what happened it's still wrong as at that age true understanding of the repercussions of their deeds cannot be understood. The bigger question is what will become of the child that the female is carrying. Will it be aborted (I am against that unless the mothers life is in danger.) or should the mother be forced to carry the child to term and it be put up for adoption to a family that cannot have children of their own for whatever reason.(a better option but still has faults and problems for the mother and her unborn child) the stigma and peer rejection for being pregnant at that age and the mothers possible hatred of the child she is carrying and things she might due to harm or kill the child while it's in her body. This is a tough one but unfortunately in this permissive anything goes time we live it these days it's something that more and more young teens will face

What if the father was only 12-13? Does that mean he's sick?
Honestly, this is something for the girl's (and boy's) parents to judge and handle. She is their responsibility and it is up to them to educate her about life. If she didn't know any better, it's not exactly right to either blame or judge her. Any judgment on anyone else's part isn't going to help anything at all and will, more specifically, not allow her to learn or grow as a person.

I can't adequately address the issue of rape without knowing how old he was. If he was seventeen, I am a little reluctant to classify that act as ANY kind of a rape.
As for the question of teenage pregnancy, I don't see what is so disturbing about it. I concede that, ideally, people shouldn't have sex until they are married and that, once they are married, sex should be used to cement people's love and to procreate. However, you still have to accept the fact that teens can get horny just as young adults do. Are the sexual endeavors of college co-eds, which I know from experience are prodigious, any less sick. nm.
IMHO, this is a crazy A@SS "question." In reality, you're just using the open format of this community as a soapbox for your sanctimoniousness.
