i feel your pain.. i am newly pregnant too.. and i was getting cramps and spotted.. old brown spotting.. not even a lot.. my doctor told me the spotting is called the implantation process.. and it is when the uterus is readying itself for the pregnancy.. i still get period cramps.. but he checked my cervix and it is closed.. so what he did is checked my quant levels.. (preg hormone levels) and is watching it rise.. you should have your doctor do the same.. and get an ultrasound to see the development of it. you will see a thickened endometrium.. readying itself to carry the fetus.. then you will see the sac to carry the baby.. its a slow process.. no worries hun if you are going to the doctor and letting him watch you.. i still feel pressure.. not really cramping but bloating.. and pressure.. so i am watching it closely with my doctor.. good luck and you can message me anytime.. taffygirl28 on messenger.. we can talk.. im going thru the same thing.

Minor cramping is completely normal.

If you begin to have cramping with bleeding report it to your doctor.

~~~a little cramping is normal,,,but,,,make sure you rest,,put your feet up,,,,watch for any spotting. And because this is your first pregnancy,,,its ok to call your Dr. that is part of his/her job,,,to look out for you and put your mind at ease. Any questions what so ever,,,call your Dr,,,,its ok. also,,,dont lift heavy objects,,,that will put a strain on you also,,,,rest, put your feet up,,,and never hessitate to call your dr if you need to......
