my little boy is a late talker which has led to some behavourial problems.he's under a speech therapist, a pediatrician and is in one of the best private nurserys in my area. i love him to pieces and wouldnt have him any other way.he makes me laugh and i love being his mum. but there are certain situations i avoid like shopping with my boy cos he hates it and when he has a tantrum he punches kicks scream pulls my hair pinches . but my mates just had a baby and when i went to see her the other night she asked if my son had been xmas shopping with me, i said no. she replyed,' do you take him anywhere?' but she always makes sly comments like i might not take him to this christening cos he wont sit still etc but she thinks im being mean. i take my son everywhere but wont put him in a situation that gets him stressed. ive tryed to explain but shes an idiot and doesnt listen. ive decidied not to bother with her anymore for fear of punching her. my son is 3.am i right or wrong?

I called them boys because any guy that doesn't take care of their kids is a boy and not a man. My fiance is the best father two little girls can have. He works his butt off yet still plays with them. He's working out of state right now but even before that when he was home, he's find time for them. It didn't matter if he worked an eight hour day or a 12 hour day he'd play with them. His brother is totally opposite. This guy has 6 kids by 4 different women, doesn't pay child support for any, never sees 3 of the kids. How can two brothers be totally different when it comes to their kids? my fiance was raised by his mother because his dad left her for another woman when he was 3 years old. His brother was raised by their dad. They don't have the same mom. Is it because of who they were raised by?

My six month old has a rash on her face, (left cheek) and has watery diarrhea. I'm worried. Over the phone Dr said might be stomach virus. No fever, she does not appear terribly irritated. No new foods were given to her either. Could this be an allergy? Anyone have similar experience with thier baby?

Holy crappola. It's a sharp pain when I get up, when I pee, and sometimes, when I sit down.

I'm eighteen weeks pregnant, and it hurts right above my pubic bone, on the lower right side, and on the lower left side. My BACK hurts when I sleep on it.

Is this normal for this stage of pregnancy? I didn't have this with my first, but it hurts.

I have not finshed xmas shopping for kids b/c as a single parent I have to take them with me and try to hide things which is almost impossible! I need some gift ideas for my kids ages 8 biy and 9 girl. So far I got both the kiddie digital camera, my daughter jeans and a hooded shirt she liked, my son gameboy with a game, my daughter a gift card for a gerbil and the cage. What else can I get them , I have no ideas !

My seven year old son habitually bites and picks his nails -- he has since he was two. I have not been able to clip his nails for years. I have tried everything from having him wear gloves to nail biting nail polish. Sometimes he picks his nails so low that they bleed. Any suggestions?

I am a13 year old boy and I want to be a tall person (about 6 feet and above) but I want to be very fit (because I wanna be an athlete when I grow up), would you recommend me to do lunges and squats using 5 kg(10 pound) dumbells because I want to jump higher because I am playing basketball at my school? Can lifting 5kg dumbells in any way (standing, sitting or lying down) stunt ur growth?

My parents are 5'7 and 5'3 but the rest of my family memebers are 5'9 and above. I even have an uncle and a great grand father that have 6'6. CAn this affect me?

ive just found out that she is pregnant she is 8 weeks she told me this morning that her period was late and she thought she was pregnant i took her to planned parenthood and said she was 8 weeks...i asked her if she wanted to have an ABORTION she said No and asked her if when the baby is born she wanted to give it up she aso said no what can i do i would love for it to live with me but i dont know im a single mom and i dont know how i can support this child what do u think i could do because she is going to keep the baby

I have never been pregnant or on birth control. I have always had verybad menstral cycles. Horrable cramps, back pains, cant walk and vomiting. But doctors all tell me this is norm I dont agree. I finally missed my period but i a waiting a few days to confirm. Ok, so pretend u are 13 and are playing truth or dare with 10 of ur friends. Ur bf is there and ur ex is there. U just broke up with ur ex, and have been going out with ur bf for 3 weeks now. Half of the people there don't kno ur going out with ur bf and someone dared u to make out with ur ex. If u didn't, u'd have to either A) take of a piece of clothing other then socks or gloves or hats or something like that. or B) be put out of the game.

I had sexual intercourse October 26 during that time I had my period on and off (it was irregular)then on the the Nov,5 my period came back...3 weeks later...I saw some white discharge from my breasts..I got really scared...so I deside to take a Pregnancy test and it was negative....My belly seem abit big..I took another test and it was (Negative)...so I just forget about it for awhile and today I saw alot of white discharge than before...and I did not get my period as yet (but my period sometimes irregular)..sometimes I feel abit upset too.....I took 5 at home pregnancy tests they all came out negative!!...I am really confused...so could white discharge be a major sign of pregnancy??

He is just a little boy with a single mother, who has become my worst nightmare.I have never heard such tormented wailing,and it is very often,if he is home he is slamming doors and lamenting at the top of his lungs.I wake to this before dawn,shocked from slumbers by him.Is this in the normal realm of healthy child behavior? His mother is very loud as well, pounding up and down stairs and the bedlam is beyond my ability to cope with it. What is going on? What can I do?
