People just like to give the benefit of the doubt! but I know from experience, if you think there is a problem now, it isn't going to change unless he proves to you that he can change. that in itself is the test, he must prove it. if he isn't stepping up and showing any promise now, he might not come around, but you never know! if for some reason he does, give him a chance to prove himself. remember baseball, 3 strikes and your out! just be careful

i think that people in a healthy relationship KNOW that the father will be responsible...but these girls who cant shut off the "open" sign between their legs... make sure they get pregnant by a certain someone and then expect them to stick around.....its so funny ... the ranting and raving about these bad fathers...when the mothers are consumed with the "baby daddy" not the baby itself....its gross..especially when your SO young...and assume that by getting pregnant it secures a relationship...its sad and its common and females should be taking some of this blame as well....

For the same reason women still think that getting pregnant for a guy will hold him.
Stupidity.
Any ****** can be a father it just takes some sperm.
A parent is something else.
So girls if you want a parent and not a father for your child, look for the man who takes his responsibilities seriously, in all aspects of his life.
It's not 100% guaranteed, but its a good indicator.

well he was part of making the baby for starters
and am sure he most love the fatherly thing unless he is not that attracted to kids but it depends on the age my dad loves kids when their 3 and above but does interact with the when their too young that doesnt mean his not responsible .. he is the one making sure the child has food and clothing and love that i know ... maybe not all fathers r the same ... just like ur fingers on ur hand their not all the same

Not is going to be, as in grown up and accepting responsibility. Responsible in the law, as in you help create it you are going to pay for it.

well, that's why you pick someone to spend the rest of your life with first. If people have uncommited sex, they can't expect any different results.
