i think it could be that.....no doubt about how being raised affects parenting BUT i also see a HUGE issue in how these girls have kids by guys who suck...id bet alot that these girls hardly knew the guy, got pregnant outside of a real relationship...and then expected him to change who he is because he had a kid....i know children need good role models BUT i also think that US WOMEN have to be a litttttle more careful about who we conceive with....like your hubbies brother....whoever this last chick is....she already knew he had a bunch of kids..WHY THE HEII WOULD YOU HAVE ONE BY HIM??? we all know damn well that the female will most likely be the one with most responsibilty if a guy runs out...so why have a baby by a guy who has a track record?? i just dont get it....i know lots of guys that are great dads and some who arent...but the women they had them with dont fall far behind them...there are OTHER reasons why they had these kids and it sucks for the little ones.....we just need to be more careful thats all

I think it all depends on how the boy was raised. Sometimes, if the boy had terrible parenting as in, the parents didnt care what he did, watched, how he coorperated with them, not very good disciplining, then that could play a part in how they could parent their kids. I guess maybe it could matter if they got raised by different people. Probably, if a child was raised by their aunt and uncle because the parent simply had no time, might make them not very good fathers, because they dont ahve an actual parent that gave birth to them. If they had parents at all might do something too, because they have no one to look up to and have no role model to be a parent. Anyways I hope i helped!

HE IS A PRODUCT OF HIS ENVIRONMENT. HAD YOUR FIANCE BEEN RAISED IN THE SAME HOUSE, WITH HIS DAD, M OST LIKELY HE WOULD BE THE SAME WAY. YOUR DAUGHTERS DAD WAS RAISED BY A ANUTURING CARING MOTHER AND HIS BROTHER WAS RAISED BY A SELFISH GET WHAT YOU CAN DAD. THAT SIMPLE, IT'S ALL HE KNOWS.
Defend the poor and fatherless; Do justice to the afflicted and needy. Deliver the poor and needy; Free them from the hand of the wicked.
Psalm 82:3-4
GOD BLESS

There are a billion answers to your Q. I believe it all falls on the family environment. It has to have balance from both parents. Some people have more skills at teaching children right and wrong. Some kids are hard headed and some are very forgiving. But most of all the child needs to feel loved. Or they grow up shallow.

I don't know, but I would guess that the brother raised my the mother turned out the best because he empathizes with women more that his brother, who unfortunately only has his father as a role model!
Anyway, dear, you got the best of the bunch!

Boys are good dads because they either had no
Dad and were raised by Mom or they had great Dads who took good care of them.

The same thing that causes some girls to be terrible mothers. Some people just aren't meant to be parents.

it's like you said. they are boys. emotionally challenged men can seperate themselves from their kids. they don't go through the emotions that women do. a real man puts forth the effort to get involved and gets hooked on his kids. it's too easy for a slob to sleep around and never have responsibilities. i believe it's called being juvenile????

It is him the brother who obviously has allot of issues pertaining to taking responsibility not only to himself but to others. He isn't the only one allot of people are not meant to be Mothers or Fathers ..There are allot out there it is too bad but that's the way it is.
