Holy crappola. It's a sharp pain when I get up, when I pee, and sometimes, when I sit down.
I'm eighteen weeks pregnant, and it hurts right above my pubic bone, on the lower right side, and on the lower left side. My BACK hurts when I sleep on it.
Is this normal for this stage of pregnancy? I didn't have this with my first, but it hurts.

I know that I sometimes have pains whenever I get up too fast or turn too quickly. Sometimes I will also get them when I pee. If it is a quick sharp pain that goes away right away it is probably round ligament pains but if it doesn't go away and it burns when you pee you should talk to your doctor.

round ligament pains are suppose to go away when you change positions...but i know what your feeling because thats how i felt when i got them...but it can also be a urinary tract infection...play it safe and go to your doctor so they can check you out...congrats and good luck...happy holidays

sounds like a kidney infection to me.
