My babysitter is a life saver. Always there at the drop of a hat. I work odd hours and she is always going above and beyond for my 3 yr old and my 18 mo old. I need to show her how much I appreciate her but I have very little money to do that with...Help

My daughter is my and my husbands only child. My mothers only grandchild and my sisters only niece. All that being said I am DREADING christmas morning. My mother , sister and yes my husband too all go over board with the presents. Is there anyone else having the promblem of Christmas getting out of control?

I have a three week old daughter who wakes up from her sleep with a startle and screams the house down. She will then scream until she burps or spews (takes a loonnng time). She screams after she has her bottle, even if she has had a good burp. I've tried warm baths, holding her in different positions, cycling her legs, putting warm wraps on her belly, etc but nothing seems to help with the belly-aches. How can I help her?

My son was born ten years ago and i did not have a positive urine test for 13 and a half weeks. I did not know I was pregnant at all and continued to have bleeding until i was 22 weeks pregnant. This bleeding continued the same time I was expecting my periods. I am 13 days overdue with my period and have had neg urine and blood test. I am having symptoms of bloating, feeling nausea etc and my mucus has changed to like when I was pregnant. I feel like I am going mad. My cycle for the past three years has always been either 26 or 27 days. Should I ask my doctor for an ultrasound or could this be a phantom pregnancy?
Any advice or reason would be appreciated.

By carpet cleaning i mean a commercial carpet cleaning service ,the ones which appear on TV ,like Stanley Steemer.Or should the pregnant woman keep off the chemical cleaning fumes totally.The house has a mice :(
Or what else would you recommend to "cleanse" the house.

I started elijah on solids last week, hes now on 2 solids per day, of just over half the jar each feeding.

He hsa 4 bottles (230mls), but with the day two, he will only drink about half, and at night if very fussy, will drink most, but it takes ages. His morning one is the only good one, he will drink the whole lot.

Im not sure wether i should drop the solids until 6 months, hes 5m1w. Any advice?

AFTER I TAUGHT MY 12 YEAR OLD BOY ABOUT SEX, HE WAS ALWAYS TALKING ABOUT IT.
HE WAS LOOKING AT PORNO AND TALKING ABOUT NAKED SUPERMODELS.
SO I MADE A DEAL WITH HIM, IF I WOULD LET HIM HAVE PROTECTED SEX WITH A HOT GIRL, HE WOULD STOP TALKING ABOUT SEX.
SO I FOUND A 15 YEAR OLD GIRL'S PARENTS THAT WERE ALSO HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM WITH THEIR DAUGHTER.
THEY (AND THEIR DAUGHTER) AGREED.
THE GIRL AND MY SON HAD SEX FOR A HALF HOUR.
MY SON SAID THAT IT WAS THE MOST AMAZING FEELING HE HAD EVER HAD, BUT HE SAID HE WASNT MATURE ENOUGH TO HAVE SEX AGAIN UNTIL HE WAS MARRIED.
EVER SINCE THIS, HE HAS BEEN NICER TO GIRLS, NICER TO ME, GETTING BETTER GRADES, AND BEEN MORE MATURE THAN EVER. THIS REALLY WORKES!!!!

When I picked up my son from daycare today he had the worst diaper rash, the woman who takes care of him told me about it and said that he had pooped 4 times and it just kept getting irritated.. Well when we got home he had pooped again, and he cried when i tried to clean him, so I gave him a long bath let him play and let it air out for a while then put butt paste on it.. It still seems to be bothering him??

Is it normal for him to have that many bowel movements, and is there anything else I can do for him??

Any input would be helpful.

Okay me and my husband are trying to concieve and I we have been having unprotected sex and my last period was late but for the first two days it was pink spotting and I took a preg. test before it came on and it came back negative. I was wondering could I possibly be pregnant? Lately I have been wanting vinegar and salt potatoe chips and I have gained weight. I dont know if its just me or am I Pregnant?????? i don't. i think there is something drinking the blood of the animals, but someone had a skeleton of it and it was a wild dog.

We have 4 kids: 10, 7, 4 and 3. The 10 and 7 year olds have specific chores like keeping their rooms clean, dusting, vacuuming, etc... How can I let the 3 and 4 year olds join in? They love to help. I sometimes let them move clothes from washer to dryer or carry towels up to the bathroom. Any other ideas?

I'm a casual song writer and a semi new father. My boy is under a year old, but before he was born I had an idea for a song I could write and dedicate to him. The idea would be 'I can't wait to meet who you're gonna be'. The song would start out before my son's born and I might ask "Will you have your mother's eyes?" or "What will you do when you first see me" or something along those lines and then gradually advance through the stages of his life capturing touching moments...the stage of the song or his life are as follows [ 1) right when he's born 2) toddler / kid 3) teen 4) adult ] For example, maybe when he's a kid "who will be your favorite super hero/sports star?..I can't wait to meet who you're gonna be." So I'm just looking for an idea of some events that are quite touching as your child grows up since I have yet to experience them for my self yet. What moments are touching, made you laugh or cry or wonder? Thanks for your help!
