I just bought a Little Tykes kitchen set for my 8.5 mth old son for Christmas. My husband asked why I didn't get him the tool workshop instead. What are your thoughts on a kitchen set for a boy?

My ex (I call him Santa Daddy) thinks that giving my daughter a credit card will teach her the value of money. Does anyone in the world agree with this moronic idea? This child already has her own cell phone with unlimited minutes and every toy known to man. I thought giving her an allowance would teach her about saving money to buy things that she wants am I wrong? He says the card should be used to buy things that she needs so if I used it to pay utilities I think that would be justified. I work full time and we are not lacking in anything. Can a 5 year old even use credit cards she can barely write her name legibly!!!!!

Sanitizing bottles?
My daughter is 3.5 months old. I've been washing her bottles etc. in the dishwasher and boiling the nipples/rings/pacifiers twice a week. Am I over-doing it? Now that she's a little older, would it be okay just to wash them in the dishwasher and forget the boiling?

My husband and I are pregnant with our fourth child. We like the idea of a double name, for example Marianne or Caralee. These are both poor examples and somewhat dull.
We like Junielee and Jon Henry but would love to hear more. The baby is due on July 4th so have we have even thought about Liberty Ann and calling her Libbyann.
Our youngest son (age 8) said to call the baby John Hancock (NO) and our oldest ( 13) said to call the baby Houston so he can say, "Houston, we have a problem."

You can see why I am asking for help.

New evidence suggests that it is better not to let a new-born baby cry too long before attending to it. However, it seems clear to me that you don't want to pick up a baby that's just asking for attention. How can u tell (other than by dirty nappies)??

I am six weeks pregnant with number 3 and I have psoriasis on my head and eggsama( sorry not sure how to spell it) on my body. Since I have been pregnant, it has gotten so much worst. When I get out of the tube, I feel like I have a billion needles poking me everywhere. It hurts and is getting worst. Does anybody know of anything that will help that pregnant women can use. I use the Dermarest psoriasis shampoo and Its not working any more, and head and sholders doest work anymore either. Thanks

She doesn't wear leather belts any more just the cotton or cloth ones. I'm not sure if it's the buckle or if it's because her belly tends to hang over the pants.

the result window I see a line that is so faint it almost looks like a line where a line is supposed to be. I do definitely see a very light light light pink line. But am I reaching? Is it possible that the closer I get to the day I am actually supposed to start the darker it will get?

I went to the dr last night because I was throwing up and dizzy and didnt feel right. I havent had my period in 2 months, i took a pregnancy test last month and it said no. I figured it was just because I was stressed out. I've been on birth control for almost a year now and I thought we were safe. wrong. the dr. told us we were pregnant and I almost passed out. Our wedding is in 3 months, I just got laid off from work, and I smoke. So I have several questions. I had my wisdom teeth taken out last week and they put me to sleep, i had Xrays done, and I'm afraid that that will cause a miscarriage. Not only that, but I went out with my cousin a few weeks ago and got drunk. I smoke a pack a day and .... all this stuff could cause a miscarriage. We dont know how to tell my fiance's parents, or when to tell them. Another question is, if i go on the "patch" to stop smoking...will that hurt the baby too? I know I have to quit but...what is out there to help me w/o hurting the baby??
