My daughter is 3.5 months old. I've been washing her bottles etc. in the dishwasher and boiling the nipples/rings/pacifiers twice a week. Am I over-doing it? Now that she's a little older, would it be okay just to wash them in the dishwasher and forget the boiling?

I never santized bottles or nipples at all (consider it a lax 2nd time around attitude LOL) I just boiled them when I first bought them then washed in the dishwasher from then on. As long as your dishwasher puts out pretty hot water it will kill any bacteria on them :)

You are such a cute mommy :) I love to hear all the first-time mommy stuff you do...reminds me of how I was with Logan :)
