Help her. Every child develops at his/her own rate. When my daughter tried sitting up on her own, I did things like sit her in a Boppy or a swing. This way she had support to sit up a little on her own and I could interact with her better with two free hands.

Help her.
My son wanted to do nothing but sit from the time he was two weeks old and stand from the time he was two months. I had to put him in the exersaucer just to be able to eat once in awhile.
He is very strong. Sitting and standing and being carried around develop neck and other muscles just as much as tummy time. At 8 months my baby learned how to pull himself up using the couch and walk around the living room (holding on to things). The next day he finally started crawling! (He had been able to since about 5 months but would never go more than 4" or so). He also learned to get to a sitting position from laying down that week. (finally! I was sick of him crying everytime he wanted back up). That was quite a week. Now at 9 months he will stand unassisted -but only if he has something that he really wants to hold in both hands *lol*
So just go with it, your daughter will tell you when she is tired, when it is too much! You can sit her up in a boppy (nursing pillow) and just sit in front of her to catch her if she falls forward. Or just sit her in your lap, holding her by the body or hands if required for balance.

sure! help her build those tummy muscles! development is only a generalization. my first son could lift his head right after he was born. both my boys walked at 9-10 months. a neighbor's girl was speaking 3 word sentences when she a year old.
it's great that your girl is getting a nice start, but don't be disappointed if she slows down or even falls behind in some things at some point. no kid is ever right on schedule. the neighbor's girl didn't walk until she was 18 months!

NO! Her little bones are so fragile right now. Its great that shes eager, but be considerate of her newborn body. She could end up with a crooked back or some permanent damage. She will be sitting up around 5 or 6 months...
