It's the buckle. See if you can find a belt without a metal buckle.

The most common metal allergy is to nickel which is used as an alloy in many every day items. If your daughter is sensitive to the nickel, then you need to eliminate the buckles. Try sewing on hooks and eyes like bras use, or buttons to close the belt.
Make sure the belt isn't so tight that air cannot get underneath it. Sweat will cause a rash if it's in the same spot day after day.
If it is required that she wears a belt, perhaps you could take her to the doctor and get her excused from wearing one for medical reasons? You could also approach the school and see if they will allow her to go without one for that reason without seeing a doctor first. But be aware that by not wearing a belt, she will appear different and might be in for some teasing or ridicule.

It's probably an allergic reaction to the belt buckle. I have the same issue. As for what you can do? Possibly use a bigger belt, so that even if her stomach hangs over, the belt buckle is lower? Or you could call a dermatologist and see if they have any ideas.

Sounds lke she might be allergic to the metal in the buckle. Does she get a rash from cheap jewelry too?
You can try painting the buckle and any other metal parts with a coat of clear nail polish and see if that helps.

I suspect it's an allergy. Some people get a reaction from contact with metals. Take her to a doctor and ask about allergies. If she does have an allergy, your daughter can probably be exempt from wearing the belt if you bring a note for her to her school from the doctor.
That is if it is an allergy.

I would take him back to the dr. It may be a food allergy. You have naturally occuring yeast on your body and sometimes it can get out of hand. If it is hot where you are chances are that that is causing his problem. Try Yo Baby yougurt. It is organic and doesn't have artifical stuff in it. This may help. Destin powder is really good stuff too. Just be careful he doesn't inhale too much of the powder dust.

Use nylon straps as belts and sew velcro on for fasteners. (there are nylon straps outh there pre-velcrowed to hold things in the back of trucks or on motorcycles, but they may not be the right size)

I have the same problem. It is the buckle for me. It gets itchy and it turns red with little bumps. I always have to tuck my shirts in. I can't have the metal up against my skin. Try having her tuck her shirts in or wearing an undershirt so she can have that tucked in if the shirt isn't one she can tuck in. Also there are medicines you can put on it to help with the itching. Good luck

It's the buckle, she has an allergy to nickel. You can paint the metal with clear fingernail polish to prevent exposure. Also, she may be getting exposed to any metal closures that are in her pants themselves. Jeans have a metal circle that touches your skin on the inside. You can clear fingernail polish that too.

Alter the waists of her pants so she doesn't need to wear a belt. If you don't sew, a tailor or seamstress can do it pretty cheaply.
