You can safely have 1-2 cups of coffee per day (300mg). Be aware that carbinated beverages, tea and chocolate also have caffeine, so you may want to reduce those out if you love your coffee. Caffeine dehydrates you, so be sure to drink your water!
The harmful effects of caffeine on the fetus aren't conclusive, so if it worries you, I'd cut out caffeine.
It won't make for hyperactive kids, I believe that's a myth.

coffee drinking is pretty safe except when taken in excess. I understand your concern as a lot of research results keep popping up in newspapers. But as you may have noticed they are always contradictory to each other. so don't worry go ahead and drink but in moderation.

A small amount will not hurt but I would limit your caffeine intake. It is a stimulant and can contribute to increased blood pressure.
