I am six weeks pregnant with number 3 and I have psoriasis on my head and eggsama( sorry not sure how to spell it) on my body. Since I have been pregnant, it has gotten so much worst. When I get out of the tube, I feel like I have a billion needles poking me everywhere. It hurts and is getting worst. Does anybody know of anything that will help that pregnant women can use. I use the Dermarest psoriasis shampoo and Its not working any more, and head and sholders doest work anymore either. Thanks

I always used Tea Tree shampoo (got mine at Bo Rics) and eucerine (sp?) cream. That stuff works great, for me. I have all that itchy stuff too..and yep...it got worse when i was pg. Too many hormones my Dr. said.

You can always ask the Dr. or pharmacist too. Tee Tree shampoo really is not all that more expensive and after using it every day for a week only had to use it maybe 2x a week after that.OH...almost forgot...Aveeno Oatmeal bar soap. That stuff is great too. I used it all! LOL

Good luck to you...

I'm not sure about psoriasis, but I have very minor eczema. I found that the only lotion that works for me is nuetragena unscented body emulsion (the one in the box, short square bottle).
They also say that your diet can play a HUGE factor with both. Try removing or reducing any soy or nut or dairy products from your diet. I also take the aveeno oatmeal baths, though the lotion didn't work for me, I instantly started getting the breakouts again, so I quickly switched back to nuetragena.

You can also try Selsun Blue (sp?) - moisturizing. Nizerol (sp?) I have the same problem and I found that the Dermarest is making it worse! ( I bought a bottle like two weeks ago and it really is much, much worse!) I stopped using it and now my scalp feels sooooo much better. Anyway, shampoo and get a deep moisturizing conditioner (like one of those three min. treatments) I have no info. for the skin- sorry:) Good luck to you, that is one miserable feeling. Happy Holidays!

My daughter had it all over her body. The only thing that I found that would work is Cetaphil. You can buy it at any pharmacy. It come in a big tube and is kinda expensive but it last for a while. Make sure and get the cream and not the lotion. Good luck.

What helped me when I was pregnant was Hydrocordisone. I eventually had to go to my doctor and he prescribed me a special shampoo and that helped a lot!

try "Aveeno" oatmeal. I'm not sure if they have shampoo, but the oatmeal bath helps.
good luck!!!!!!!!!!!
Also, keep your skin moisturized, use baby oil after shower to help lock in moisture.
