Sebum levels are increased, 'That Pregnancy Glow of the skin' Unfortunately this also makes hair slightly greasier.

Could be due to hormone changes. I didn't notice any difference in my hair at that stage, but now I am into the 6th month, my hair is much less greasy and needs washing less.

Its probobly hormonal. & will settle down By the way, during pregnancy you dont lose so much hair so it looks fuller thicker & better condition. BUT after the baby is born the hair ggoes back to the normal growth cycle & some people panic when they think they are losing too much. Hope you have a happy healthy baby in 2007.

Nothing (and everything) is normal when you're pregnant. Ealy on, (which you are) your hormones are running amok and the strangest and most wonderful things start happening to your body. Very little seems like your "normal" reaction or the way your body responds to anything. But if you relax a bit, being pregnant is the most glorious, fulfilling feeling you will ever have. Good luck my friend

My skin t-zone gets really oily, though I haven't suffered from oil hair, its still a possibility as your hormones change some of us excrete more oils, among other things.
Try some of the clarifying shampoos...like pantene, clarifying, once a week...if that doesn't help try every 3 or 4 days if that doesn't help try it every other day. Just be sure to use a light conditioner if your hari starts drying out.

my hair went the other way. it was always greasy but when i was pregnant it was very dry and brittle. its all to do with hormones, it will settle down either later on or when baby is born.
good luck.
