It's a totally normal feeling! And a good one! If I were you, I would wait, though. Maybe just give it six months and see if you still feel the same way. As women, we love to let our emotions get in the way of our judgement. Also, make a list of reasons that you want a baby OTHER than your 'false alarm', and other than you possibly feeling a little left out. Put yourself in a place a few years from now. Do you regret not having your degree yet, or are you perfectly happy being a mommy? There is no wrong answer. It's your decision, just make sure that it's one that you make very carefully. It's one of the biggest, scariest, most wonderful decisions of your life. Best of luck to you, I hope you find happiness in whatever you decide! :)

Awww. LOL. Yes, babies are contagious, after all.

There are right circumstances for having a baby, including being happy with you relationship, being financially and emotionally stable, and being ready to wake up at all odd hours of the night (usually for fairly unpleasant chores). Other than that, there is no "perfect time" - when couples wait for this-n-that to fall into place, it doesn't happen. It's a completely personal decision. You want a baby. You're already married, you sound like a pretty decent person.... what else are you waiting for?
I think the only thing I'd be asking at this point is whether you think you are ready for years of hard work, and whether you think your husband is, too. Maybe it is time to have *that talk*.
