Take your temp every morning. On the day of ovulation you should have a slightly higher temp. They also sell ovulation kits that work great at drug stores. A doctor told me one time you could just have sex every other day all month sperm lives for 2-3 days inside your body (which is actually longer than in a man's) It can still take up to a year for a normal heathy woman to get pregnant.

I know quite a few....

1) Due to hormones your body temp drops 1-2 days before ovulation and rises 1-2 days afterward.
2) Discharge amt increases and is elastic, slippery, stretchy, thin and clear.
3) You can buy hormone level monitoring kits that tell you when there is a surge in lutenizing hormone....this is a predictor of ovulation.
4) Pain in your lower abdomen on one side or the other...it can be sharp or dull and last a few hours or a few days. Each month an egg is released from a different ovary so you may feel the pain on your right side one month and your left the next.
5) Increased libido
6) Breast pain/tenderness
7) Some women will spot a little bit.

Hey there,these are the some simple signs of ovulation that could give you a brighter idea.
* Breast tenderness
* Abdominal cramps or twinges
* Increased vaginal discharge
* Change in position and firmness of the cervix (ask your doctor how to detect cervix changes)

Hope that helps!

There isn't any sign for ovulation. However, one ovulates 7-10 days after your last day of your last period. For example, the last day of your period was 10 Dec; add 10 days (safest bet) and you'll get 20th Dec that means your ovulation starts on 20th.
