A gift-card! Considering her age, I would consider maybe getting a gift card for a nice place to eat. I myself am a babysitter, and the family that I work for gave me a gift-card to Panera Bread!I loved it, and since we have one near by, it was nice. Any nice place to eat,or even a Cafe might have one.
Give her a bonus! 15-30 dollars would be a GREAT gift, even Babysitters need 'Rainy Day' money! Of course, your tight on cash...Maybe, (If it is affordable) you could get her a nice scarf and mittens set. Its simple, affordable, and a decent gift.
Since you say she's a Life Saver, out some humor into your gifts! Get her several packages of 'Life Saver' candies, an inflatable ring for the pool, and make your own Halo. Give her a card that says 'Merry Christmas Life Saver!'.
I hope I helped, Happy Holidays!

First, definitely have the kids make her something. A cheap, quick, easy idea is to take craft paint drip it in clear Christmas bulbs and have the kids swirl it around. Start out with a few drops, and then add as needed. Second, find a local spa in your area and within your budget find something she would like. If you are not sure what she would like get her a gift certificate. You can get gift certificates for a free massage or something similar to that.

Do you want to get her a gift card, or do you want to give a gift where she can open? You can give her a gift card to a restaurant , a clothing store, or a grocery/department store. If she likes coffee, get her a nice Longaberger coffee cup, or get her something based on her hobbies. Depending on your budget, and how much you can afford, give her a gift between the $25-$50 price range.

Can you make her something? For one create a small poster that says world's best loved baby sitter or something. It really depends on her age. The dollar stores really carry alot of things. You could spend 3 or 4 bucks and get her some hair things or ??
I have a couple of friends who have helped me out a bit this year and I painted each of them an ornament.

definitely make her something. You could make her some food or candy. You could go to the dollar store or something and pick up a small basket and a couple of other items like lotion, candles, bubble bath whatever and make her a very inexpensive gift basket. I did the gift basket thing for my mom on mother's day and she loved it! And it didn't cost me much either.

I say maybe give her a gift card to her favorite store. And have the children make her something. Or have her take a picture with them or something like that.

you can buy a picture frame at the dollor store and put pictures of your two beatiful children and a card stating how much you appriciate her work and how she watches your young ones. and you can also give her a gift card for where ever she likes. it doesnt matter how much it costs. its the thought that counts.

4 movie tickets and a $50 gift card to Chili's so she and her girl friends can have a night out on you! (If you can't afford that, get 2 movie passes and $25 to Chili's)--Either way-present it in such a way that you want her to go out and have a night of fun on you!
