Pregnancy & Parenting - 14 December 2006

I was wondering if anyone knew of a good book to get for an 8 year old with severe social/respect issues. His parents are not doing a good job with this one. He is home schooled, pretty much gets away with everything & is only happy when the world revolves around him. I sure some of it is just reaching out for attention, but he needs to learn a better way to do this.

I am talking about my cousin. His behavior is so bad, my grandparents who LOVE everyone can't stand to be around him.

His problems consist of the following: he flips people off (not really he uses his pointer finger, but he means it that way), he interrupts conversations ALL the time (you pretty much can't have one around him), he doesn't respect other peoples things, etc...

Looking for book suggestions that convey the proper way to act. I would prefer if the book wasn't blantly obviously, but ones where the story convey this general idea. The story needs to good, so he will actually read it. So, any ideas?

We got pregant totally by accident and at first he was thrilled but neither of us had ever wanted children. Then we were so happy but then I had a miscarrage. After that I wanted a baby so badly I wanted to try and have one on perpous and he was totaly against it. He makes me take birthcontrol and pulls out. This has been going on for a few months then I told him I think it was just the hormones and now I'm normal and don't want a babies anymore. So yesterday he calles and tells me that he doesnt' want to be alone when we are older and he wants to have someone to visit us and give us grandchildren to spoil. So now he wants a baby. I'm so confused what should I do?

The lense is about the size of a dime. I would like to hide it... I am buying 3 for the nursury, living room, and kitchen. I am at a loss right now as to where I hide them and still allow them to be placed in a location that would have a good view.

This is the case! My fiance's cousins grandma passed away recently and he wants our daughter and me to go to the funeral. Even though its not his real grandma, she has always treated him like a grandson. I don't think its a good idea to take a baby into that kind of environment but am I just being selfish?

She just turned 2 in Nov. If I let her walk around without a pamper or pull-up around the house she will automatically go to her potty and pee if she needs too. But if I keep a pull-up on her she will pee in that, instead of pulling it down then going to the potty. So, she knows how to use it, she just doesn't when she is wearing a pull-up.

I am nearly 17 weeks pregnant and I keep getting trapped wind and heart burn. I feel awful for moaning about everything when some people cannot experience the joy of pregnancy but I am feeling so uncomfortable at the mo. Does anyone else feel this way or am I just moaning?

I had sex with this guy on october 7, 2006 we did not use protection a week or more later i went back to my ex boyfriend. I had a full five day normal period that started October 20,2006 and then i didnt have one at all in November. If i slept with him on the 7th of october and had a period about 2 weeks later and as of today Dec. 14 i am 1 day short of being exactly 8 weeks then who would you think the babies father would be. The guy I slept with on Oct. 7th or My ex boyfriend. I know only a blood test will tell but i am saying if you would have to take a logical guess with the given facts.

suffering from nothing but headaches, sickness and tirednes along with not being able to sleep at night!!

My last depo injection was 18 weeks ago. I have been bleeding for the past 13 days. on and off. I have lots of jelly like clots and for the past 3 days have been flooding.

I have had my period or what i think is my period for 3 months now.Iam having alot of symptoms that could mean pregnancy.ALOT!!My "period" is really different these last 3 months.Only 2 days long normally 4 or 5 days long!!My sister and mother have had pregnancy with periods.I took a pregnancy test about 2 1/2 months ago it was negative.Thats another issue my sister never got a postive results till she was 6 months pregnant!!Can i be pregnant?

I have a 4 year-old nephew who is very determined NOT to believe in Santa. Its not that we've told him that there IS no Santa, he is just a very logical child and he cannot see the logic in flying deer and a plump man in a red suit. I don't know HOW he is so freaking logical, but he is. How on Earth can I convince this child to use his imagination?

when should a person stop having a shower or bath with there children .. my son is 3 1/2 and he has showers with me and sometimes baths, i have a bath with my 6 month old son and my 3 year old always wants to join us and he helps wash my 6 month old while we are in the tub.. at what age should i stop him from showering with me and having baths with me,, and how do i tell him he cant get into the bath with me and my other son without hurting his feelings,, should i stop having baths with my 6 month old too.???

So im pretty much aware of rates per year, and the ones per month I've never seen at $1,700. I want to enroll my daughter in February when she turns 2 and what the preschool had to offer, I really liked the cirriculum. This makes me wonder if their goal is to keep certain types of people from enrolling or if you can afford it, more power to you and if you cant - keep on truckin'. I will have to settle on another preschool that's way less than this one. Too bad it was in such a convenient spot for both me and my daughter and I liked what they had to offer for her there.

My cycle came a day early and it lasted for 3 days. My cycle usually last from 5-7 days. I usually bleed like crazy but it was very light and brown in color for the first day and a bright red the second day. Now i am having these mild cramps like my period is about to start. I am always thirsty and hungry. I could have just eating but will be hungry an hour later. Lately i been getting these mild headaches and a burning feeling in my stomach. I am 29 and this will be my first baby if I am pregnant. I have taking 3 test already and they all where negative.
