Everyone is different, but some women do get their periods thru their entire pregnancy. If you aren't sure that the at-home test is accurate go see your doctor and have a blood test done, they are a little more sensitive that the at-home variety and if your not pregnant it could turn out to be something else that your doctor needs to be aware of.

Well, no, you can't get your period once you're pregnant because your body starts producing the hormone human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), which interrupts your menstrual cycle. What is common, though, is light bleeding or "spotting" during pregnancy that can seem like a period.

Some pregnant women have what's called "implantation bleeding" (fertilized egg burrowing into the lining of the uterus) that can happen around the time their period is due, and they may mistake that bleeding for a period. According to my doctor, this implantation process starts around 6 days after fertilization, and it's generally a lot lighter than a typical period — just a day or two of very light spotting.

Many women who bleed a little bit in the early stages of pregnancy carry out the pregnancy without any complications, but bleeding can also be a cause for concern. It may be the first sign of a miscarriage. But then, your symptoms probably will go on to include heavy cramping and bleeding much heavier than a normal period.

Regardless, though if you bleed at all early in your pregnancy, it's best to see your obgyn for a blood test to check your hCG levels or even an ultrasound to evaluate your condition more in depth.

yes, you could still be pregnant. i would suggest you go to the doctor and get a blood test done. it is the most accurate. that way you will know and not have to worry (which if you are pregnant is not good...causes too much stress) anyways. to answer your question, yes you can be pregnant and still have your period. although it is rare, but not as rare as people believe.

my grandmas friend was pregnant and had no idea, because she didnt gain any weight (maybe 2 or 3 pounds) and she had her regular period every month. NO change in it or anything, normal. and then one day she had horrible cramps. by the end of the day they hadnt subsided, they got worse, so she went to the local hospital and told them her problem. when she got evaluated, she was told that she was pregnant and she was in labour.

so yes, you can have your period while pregnant.

The signs of durations and being pregnant are so equivalent that nobody can rather inform one from the opposite till a optimistic experiment may also be got or dominated out. Wait an extra week and experiment once more, if nonetheless bad both make an appointment at your health care professional or be given that you just don't seem to be pregnant.

Yes you can be pregnant. I know a few women who had their periods up to their 4th month of pregnancy. You should just first try an over the counter preg. test & if that's negative & you still think you may be pregnant, go to your ob/gyn. Hope this helps.
