Hi there,
Well if this is your first, then normaly people would start showing at 14-15 weeks. Also if you have a small frame it can show much earlier.
Second time around - people can start showing as early as 8 weeks since your muscles already have done that kind of stretching. You ab mucles kind of part in the middle and are more relaxed the second time around.
Make sure you wear comfortable clothes. I would not listen to some that tell you that you are too early to show since EVERY BODY IS DIFFERENT! I am currently with my 2nd - 11 weeks and I am showing.

Everybody is different :) I am 29 weeks pregnant with my first child and before I got pregnant I was tiny. Like 95 pounds tiny. I didn't really start to show until I was like 20 weeks. I mean my husband could tell, and of course I could tell, but no one else really. Chances are you and a few close friends are the only ones who will really notice right away. You should be going for an ultrasound soon, within the next few weeks and you will be feeling significant fetal movement soon. Who cares how big you get or are, you're pregnant, enjoy the little moments and hope for a healthy baby. Worry about the weight later.

P.S. At the stage you are at I gained 10 pounds in a 4 week time period. :) And have been gaining at least 4-6 pounds every month since then. If your show/weight gain wasn't normal your Dr. would say something. Good Luck, Don't Worry and Congratulations :)

At 15 weeks you are 4 months so yes it is normal. I started showing around 12 weeks and I am 16 weeks tomorrow and can really see it. My doctor said I just had a growth spurt that everyone shows at diffrent times. I am hoping after 7 months or so I will not get much bigger..lol

That's not true about being "petite" and showing earlier. I am and didn't start showing obviously until about 7months. Even now I'm 9months and look about the way a 6-7month pregnant woman would look, and everythings been PERFECT with my pregnancy. I seem to think that bigger girls show earlier because they have a lot of extra padding on their tummys that's being pushed out. Unless you've already gained a lot of weight, maybe it's just gas and bloating. It's not the baby though, it's only inches long and oz's heavy!! Good Luck

I puffed out early for my second. It depends on your body shape. I think. Don't worry about it, I got big fast early and from 5 to 7 months I didint get any bigger. Its a growth spurt. Now I am 35 weeks and I gained 25 pounds so far. and people tell me I look like I am having twins.....lol

Yes, my friend was pretty big at 15 weeks, but then didn't grow a noticeable amount until 6 months.
