Is it best to have sex on the days leading up to ovulation? Would anyone know if having sex the day of be a good thing too? or are you really pushing it close?

My doctor has told me to have it every other day the days leading up to ovulating, the day of ovulation, and a few days after ovulation every other day just to be safe.

If you have sex 3 or 4 days before the ovulation you will almost always have a girl. If you have sex after ovulation you will have a slightly higher chance of having a boy. I would start 2 days before and every 2 days for a week or so.

I would go ahead you can still get pregant the day you ovualte you just have to catch the egg within 12 hours of release. I am convinced I coneived on the actual day I ovualted. You need to have sex everyday 4 days prior and the day of ovulation.

It doesn't hurt because sometimes it takes the sperm a while to make it to the egg. My doctor gave me a chart when we were trying and basically two weeks after your period, have sex every other day.
