I am almost five months pregnant and I want to start getting my plans in order for my baby shower. Some might say this is jumping the gun, but I want to price things and see how much money I have to start saving for this special date. Now, the baby theme is Classic Pooh, but I wanted the cake to be in the shape of a gift box, well the Tiffany's box-style. I wanted it in 2-tiers, but I can't seem to find a cake maker in the Detroit area that does this. So I have to depend on the help of you guys. Please help me!!!! I WANT THIS SO BAD. So if you know any shops or person in the Detroit metro area with a catalog of cake they did or a site I can get to, please let me know.

i am posting this just in case i am not pregnant i have taken a test and it came back neg so i really dont know my husband and i have been trying for over a year now so if u have any helpful tips we would like that we have tried missionary postion, laying on my back for 30 mins with hips on a pillow, we have tried it in the morning, we have calulated when i would ovulate and have sex around time i was suppose to ovulate and we have done the temp thing so please anympre tips then those please help

I start babysitting a little girl who is almost 3 tomorrow. I used to babysit her from the time she was 2 months to a year. I now have a ten month old son and he is very unpredictable around other children. He can be loving at one moment and borderline abusive the next. She is a really sweet little girl and she gets along with other kids well. I was just wondering if I should expect any certain behaviors out of my son, like jealousy or problems with his ability to share and so on. If anyone has any tips for me it will be very helpfull. I will be watching her 12 hours a day and my son isnt used to having other children around everyday and all day.

my friend is 31-32 weeks pregnant and has gone into labor several times. her cervix is sewn shut but the dr had to remove a stitch because she is dilating and the cerclage was getting painful. she is very scared because her contractions are getting painful and she's waiting for her husband to get home in the next few minutes so they can go to the hospital. if her baby is born tonight, what is the percentage of survival? her mucous plug has come out and now there is blood, but she doesn't know if it is from dilating with a cerclage or if it is a bloody show. someone please tell me survival rate at 31-32 weeks and what i can say to her to help her through.

My period has not come yet and its been 5 days. I am usually regular, but about three months ago i was not. Does anyone think i am preg. or is it just me and stress cause at the same time i am taking exams that are stressng me out. I also had what i thought was a 24 hour virus around the 8th and i threw up amd was doing everything that comes along with a virus.

I saw this on the UK site and thought I'd write it up here.

Of course there are matters to which it is hereditary but there are many more where it is a learned habit/behavior.

If you do believe it is abuse, do you believe these parents should be prosecuted?

How do you think we could stop obesity problems that exist in these young children all together?

What do you think is the main reason parents allow their kids to get this way?

On november 11th, my husband and i had sex. He didn't ejaculate, and he pulled out way before. Plus, i was on the last day or day after of my period. We weren't planning on having a baby, but if thats what god has in store for us then we're happy.


Last night, i took a home pregnancy test. (Best Choice, from the Dollar Store.) Right away there was only a line in the C section, not the T section, meaning it was negative. Sometime after 10 minutes i looked at the test again and there was a barely noticable relatively colorless line, i had to look really closely to see it. I figured it was an evaporation line, but i wasn't positive. Today in the morning i went into a free pregnancy testing clinic near my house and got it done by a professional. (urine test.) She informed me that the test was negative, and that she didn't see ANY evidence of any other positive lines, meaning pregnancy. Also, we looked up my conception time, and according to their chart and the start of my last period, my conecption time would have been on the 20th of november, and i had sex on the 11th, so they said i'm probably not pregnant. I'm going back on the 23rd to get retested just to be sure. I was wondering though, considering all of that, is this a true negative?

The only symptom i've had is that for the last few days, my breasts have been sore, my nipples have been sensitive, and if i press on my nipples it hurts like hell. Cause stress and PMS cause that?
How likely is it that my HCG levels are just low?

I am 8 months pregnant, and everytime I have sex with my partner, I feel very slight cramping and m vagina becomes very sore. I asked the gynocologist about it, and he said its normal as long as we are not being rough (which we arent) and some other factors which dont apply to us. I just want some reassurance that this is common because it worries me of how sore I become after engaging in the act, is it because I am close to my due date? should i hault on sex until after the baby is born and I am given the okay by the doctor? Please give me any feedback you can! thanks!

It's also my birthday this Sat. I really have had a really bad pregnancy. I am now winging myself off of morphine and vicodine. I am really doing good on that part but getting dressed is still a challenge. I still hurt allot if I do to much. My husband is very understanding and thinks I should throw my hair up in a pony tail and ware what I want and just put some makeup on so I will glow. LOL. I just don't want the people to feel like they shouldn't had given me a shower because of me looking like I feel bad. See what I mean what do you think?

So besides the fact that I will be exposed to secondhand smoke galore and I also am aware that ventalation systems do not remove the toxins and poisons in the smoke ---only the visable smoke...
My mother-in-law had the nerve to call me ungreatful...
She also has invited 50+ friends (of hers) so I can get more gifts...was the exact wording she used!!!
Now I told her over two months ago that If she was planning a shower to please not throw it in a Bar but she is this weekend.

Now I want to see if maybe I'm the only one who thinks this is crazy.....
What exactly should I do???
I tried suggesting the bar to be a meeting place then go to a more suitable place for a pregnant women....I even offered to Pay for a hall and food...But was called an ungreatful B**ch.
I need suggestions please!!!!

How accurate is an ultrasound done at 8 weeks in determing the due date/ time of conception. I had an ultrasound done at 7 weeks and 5 days, can an ultrasound done that early be off?

Anyone have a similar situation? He got mad and scratched his face once and recently he banged his forehead on the wall because he came in late from recess and got in trouble. I don't know how to deal with this and need help please. His test scores are above normal so I don't know if him being really smart has anything to do with this problem.

I am one month pregnant and have been given folic acid and a very small amount of estrol tablets because i was on birth control for 10 years. (i'm on healthy diet so doc said no vitamin needed)

My baby was born with a clear skin. However when he was between 1-2 months old, some rashes appeared on his face predominantly on the cheeks and forehead thereby creating a "rough" look and texture. Our pedia recommended some ointment but cautioned us it's prolonged use because it may cause the skin to whiten abnormally. After using it for 3-4 days, the skin cleared but the rashes returned after a week since we stopped using the ointment. After that, we used an ointment with steroids for one week. His skin cleared but the condition recurred after 2 weeks after we stopped using the second ointment. Though, the "rashes" are smaller and less spread this time. Any similar experiences or treatment suggestions? It was said that his skin was so sensitive. Thank you.
