I am on the Depo shot for almost two months now, and had a discharge. I went back, and they put me on an extra birth controll pill, to stop the discharge. Now the discharge is getting less and less by the day.I also got sick of flu-tablets two days ago, as it was too strong for my system and i took too many in a short time. I vomited a lot and felt nausious since. Could the flu medication still be the reason for me feeling like I want to vomit the whole time? I have felt this way since the medication overdose. or could it be something else? One lady at work thinks I am pregnant. But i am on double protection!!! Do you think there is a possibility? Or what could I do the reduce the nausia? Please help.

I had unprotected sex this past Saturday, Sunday, and Monday (with the same dude!).
So how long should I wait until I can take a pregnancy test and it'll be accurate?

I really prefer not to get him cloth as he is getting big. I need something that an eight month old can enjoy and yet not be something that he will stop using after a month.

I'm pregnant, and my mother-in-law, who drives me nuts, insists that she be told the second I go into labor so she can come up to the hospital. She makes me a nervous wreck, but I don't want to hurt her feelings either. Also, I want my mom to be up there( she lives just next door), but she can't stand my mother-in-law either-so much that I don't think she will come to the hospital if my mother-in-law is already there. I don't want to hurt any feelings, but I don't want to make a stressful situation for myself even worse. How would you handle this?

Okay....Was having a casual relationship with a man for 7mons. i found out i am pregnant 2 wks ago and he told me he didnt want anymore children (he already has two from previous marriage). He seemed cold and unavail. ( as it is not a priority) when we planned to hook up to talk so, i told him I would not him anymore and to do the same. I want the baby and am keeping it. Chances are he will not bother anyway since "does not want anymore children" should i tell him my intentions or move on and say nothing ?????

Who here has ever chosen to use the mirror they have at the hospitals to watch your child's birth??? Was it uncomfortable...I didn't to it with my son... lol I was 16 at the time... and the idea didn't really appeal to me..But, now I am debating whether or not I should choose to use the mirror...What do ya'lls think?

Usually you can tell when the baby has the hicups. Even my husband can feel him twich. I started noticing this about 29 wks. I think it's so cute to have a life inside you experiencing all the movements. I just wondered, if the baby can now open his eyes, suck his thumbs, can he burp and pass gas? If he does, is it like when we pass gas in water? (o.k I know this is gross but really. They don't show this stuff on the discovery channel.) What do you think?

I got married and never felt like having kids but people around start to ask questions esp. my mom and mother in law. I know I will get more inquiries but I just don't see the bonus part of having kids. I just see all the minuses of them bring to my life like big financial burden, change of life style, adjustment to my career and so on. Please Mothers here help!

Ok see i have a 5 year old son and i am thinking about having another baby (I'm 27) and i am asking you all did your older kid(s) pay any bit of attention to the youngest, did they get along?

Do you think it would be a huge age gap if i were to have another one maybe in the next 2-3 years from now?
Also were your kid(s) jealous of the new baby?

Thanks

My husband is attractive, but I always wanted to marry someone really tall with green eyes and dark wavy hair. He has none of those qualities. I know it is a minor thing, but sometimes I wish I could go back and wait for someone with those three qualities. I wanted my children to have green eyes. There are only brown eyes on either side of our families. How do I keep myself content on the fact that my children will never have green eyes or dark wavy hair?

Ok. Here's the deal. I just found out Monday that I am pregnant. For one, I'm not sure how to feel about this. I am only 18. I have a super sweet supportive boyfriend. We just told our parents today and they didn't freak, surprisingly. I've always wanted kids, now that I'm going to have one, it just doesn't feel like it should be happening, ya know? Abortion keeps popping in my head. I'm totally against abortion but I keep thinking about it. It would make everything so much easier. I think Im also being selfish. We always use condoms. The condom broke so I took the morning after pill. Which obviously did NOT work. is it wrong that I keep thinking about having an abortion. Its not a baby yet...just fluids andstuff. But i still feel like I shouldnt be thinking it. Is it normal to have mixed emotions about this whole pregnancy thing?

My child is 8 and is good at home, but a different kid at school - angry, bad attitude, disrespectful. Not all the time but is a problem. I want to know where to go to help her.
Paying for phycologists, etc is not an option.
Does anyone know of somewhere around west of Brisbane?

This subject is very near to my heart b/c I'm a daycare worker and I can't for the life of me figure out why parents shove their responsibilities off like this.

I am NOT speaking to parents who legitimately have to work I am speaking of those who don't have to or that do (like teacher of all people!!) who leave their kids at day care from 6 am -6 pm EVEN ON HOLIDAYS. Some parents have even admitted that they just feed their kids dinner and put them to bed when they get home which means they spend all of 3 or 4 hours with each other a DAY!! I don't know what they are thinking b/c as much as I love their kids I'm not going to raise them in a few hours.

How do you feel on the subject of daycare raising children? Is this lack of parenting running society?

I have had two other children and got back down to 135 pounds and no stretch marks. I was able to ware a bikini if I wanted. This is now my third and I am 31 weeks. I have these huge stretch marks that I never had with my other two. I am only having one child and have 2 tumors in the womb with the baby. One of the tumors is the size of 6 inches and the other is about 3 inch. So needless to say I look like I have twins. I kept wondering why I was already showing at 4 months. I had my sono at 5 months and freaked out on the tumor becasue we at first could not see the babies face. Well enough of my horror story! Have you known or experienced large stretch marks and were you able to get ride of them? I use all kinds of stuff right now. Including an aloe plant, and vit. E gel cap. I poke a hole in the cap and rub on my belly. Don't laugh, my poor body misses the old me already. O.K am listening.......Give it to me stright!

I finally went to the doctor today about my chronic insomnia, anxiety, and lightheadedness. My doc says that it's PPD and prescribed a mild anti-depressant. Is it normal (I've had the insomnia for almost two years now) to have PPD this late after brith? My daughter is a preemie and yep, I blame myself for her early and complicated delivery also.

My son is going to be 2 on Feb 27.. and I am due to have my daughter on Feb 2. I am a bit worried about how he will react to having a baby around the house. Even though he has seen me care for my infant nephew, and seems to have no problem with that, I am still concerned about his reaction to bringing the baby home... I tried giving him a "baby"(plastic doll) to care for.. and he showed no interest... its just sitting on the floor.. he doesnt want to play with it at all.
Are there any other ways to ease him into the idea of having another child around, and to me not having 100% of my time for him anymore? I'm looking for mom to mom advice!! I cant stand the thought of him thinking I am ignoring him... but I need him to understand that I cant give him all my attention anymore. Any tips?

My mother in law mentioned that she had a baby dinner after the baby was born for the "baby shower" for my sis in law...I told her that I didn't exactly want to wait until after the baby is born. My husband and I are going to be tryin for a baby and I want to start getting things for the baby..but my mother in law says not to because people will buy things for me. ButI dont want to not have tings when the baby is born because I was "hoping" that people would buy the things for me. I don't expect anyone to buy any type of expensive item or cheap items. Is there anything wrong with making a registry, and buy things throughout my pregnancy and then leave the other things on the list for my shower? Do you think i'm being rude? I just want one child and I want everything for my child for this special time. I don't want to miss out because I was waiting incase someone would buy something
