congats on the baby. just had a new little girl myself. yes for starters you can get pregnant right after you have had a baby. as for the sex life you need to be a little more creative now that the baby is here. if your little one sleeps better in the afternoon then on hubby's day off try for an afternoon lovemaking session. buy what little time you have stop making bottles or laundry and make the time they do sleep sometimes and when they do take that time and use it. put off dinner or watching TV etc. if all else fails i promise they do eventually sleep through the night. good luck and enjoy they grow faster then you know.

I have always heard that you are more fertile after having a baby. I know of a few of my friends going for their 6 week check-up and be pregnant again so yes it is VERY possible.

I really can't relate to the sex situation because i didn't have sex until like 2 and a half months after i had my son. I had a c-section plus sex was the last thing on my mind after going through all that pain.
Just try to have relations while she is very sound asleep and you 2 be very quiet.

Good luck to you

Yes 10 month apart babies are called irish twins my husband is an irish twin. If you are take special care of yourself it can take a toll on you body. Your body will not be primed for sex for at least six monthes after having a baby and being interupted is just one adjustment to your new fam. cuddle falatio days of foreplay and then a quicky works for most parents till the baby doesnt need as much attention. It can be texting sexy messages all day and then tearing into eachother at the end of the day really it only takes 3 minutes if you do it right!

Congratulations, welcome to mother hood..good news is that your life with your husband will impove. Babies wake up at the time when you really dont want them too!! She will change and stop waking up all the time. You will look back on this as she gets older and things calm down and think ''wow things really have changed'', then of course other things will start.
Its good that you and your husband try to have time together and are working on this, be patient.
Also, yes you can can pregnant quickly right after you have a baby so keep using those condoms or get some other form of birth control.

You can let her cry. I know it sounds harsh and like a bad mother and everything but you can't go running at every whimper. Feed her, changer her, burp her put her to bed. Take an hour to be the wife not just the mother. It will make your day and hubbies less tense. Also i believe you can concieve after two months. Hope that helps.

Good question. My daughter is FIVE and I still will not let her go to a babysitters other than Grandma's.

Yes, you can get pregnant right away if you have unprotected sex. They say that breastfeeding will help you not get pregnant, but don't take any chances. Having two young babies is HARD work.

As for you and your husbands sanity .. let her cry a little bit; a couple of minutes or so. It hurts a lot, but its for her own good.

Good luck and happy parenting!!

Start putting a small amt. of baby rice in her milk at night so that she's fuller longer, and will sleep longer...of course you get up when she cries...something would be wrong with you if you didn't...and YES your chances of getting pregnant right away are VERY high!! my friend got pregnant 2 .5 WEEKS after giving birth..(nasty chick, huh? Isn't the blood like , brown by that time? :() but it is possible...

That sounds so familiar, as I always said to myself and to my husband, they aren't babies forever she/he is getting older everyday and we can have all of the fun we want but we just have to be patient for the time being.
While the baby is happy on the floor what is wrong with having sex on the chair. Gosh the baby is not going to watch or know what is happening and want to look. If you are that deserate for sx try that. I haven't done it personally but I do know what you are going through. Its just a suggestion. But the baby will get older and it will get easier, believe me. Good luck

I'm somewhat in a similar situation. after my OB said we can have sex ( a month after delivery), she also warned me to use condoms every time. theoretically (and practically too - I know cases), u can get pregnant again even before ur period is back. Breastfeeding just reduces ur chances to conceive, but it's not like a natural birth control as many women think.

as for ur frustrated sex life... well, same here... at least we take it with a sense of humor... and hope it'll improve gradually:)

you can get pregnant right away.be safe or no "fun" for next few years.your baby gets to pick your moments for now but it's worth it.
soon enough she will sleep through the night and you will have your fun back
i recommend taking any Chance you can get when she does sleep
this is the time in life where quickies and nooners are nice
congrats on the baby
