your baby is on track. Remember every baby is different. I actually breast feed, and they say to get in between 8-12 feedings every 24 hours. You can always tell by the diaper...if they have 6 wet diapers and at leat 4 dirty diapers, then baby is getting enough to eat. Always look for rooting motions. Here is something on the Oprah website to help you too. http://tinyurl.com/ybje7s

There are a lot of rules. I never went by them. Your baby lets you know when he is hungry. Let him eat what he wants naturally and when he seems done, take it away. It is not very hard to follow the signs the baby is giving you. Each baby is a bit different, so watch for the cues. And don't try to overfead-that causes vomiting or spit up.

well no one can say for sure i would ask her doctor about that but i think its fine because i know that babys gain the most weight now and they loose it later so i think its fine but i would watch how much your baby poops because he or she maybe looseing to much water and that could be bad
