Pregnancy & Parenting - 10 December 2006

My son tries to grab what im eating and put it in his mouth... His doctor said I could start him on rice cereal and then move to fruits and veggies. I have heard so many things about feeding to early, and allergy's... He is only breastfeeding now and wont take a bottle at all. Anyone have any suggestions... thanks!

I had sex like the day after I noticed a sticky whitish discharge " It was when I was supposed to ovulate" We used the pull out method( I know this is not the best method or really not one but..) I just started noticing this like a few days ago. How possible would it be I am preg. or hopefully it is a yeast infection.
I kinda am tender down ther that is all.

Hubby had to take me to the ER around one a.m. this morning because I was having severe pain in my upper right abdomen that was shooting through my back. After several hours and an ultrasound later, the doc informed me that I have a poor little gallbladder full of stones. Since I'm 22 weeks pregnant, they really don't want to do anything about it at the moment-which is completely understandable.

Has anyone else had to deal with gallstones while pregnant? How did you get through it? What are the best ways to get the pain to go away if it flares back up? They told me to eat a rather bland diet but I'm having trouble trying to eat nutritiously yet blandly...got any suggestions?

I married a black woman, and that is a whole other story. Oy! Now we are pregnant and it is naming time. I was thinking of Yusef or Moishe or Caleb. My wife want s a girl, and she says that a swahili name is appropriate in her culture. I am not very happy with her suggestion for a girl: Kajana Dupree Eisenberg. Kajana supposedly means "river jumper".

my son insisted on trying to watch childs play last night with chuckie the doll i switched over loads but he kept trying to put it back on after it he was scared and i just keep trying to scare him i do have a warped sense of humour but do you think if I put a doll in his bed tonight it would be too much ?ill cuddle him after it like but will make me laugh X

i have known my best guy friend for 3 or 4 years and have liked him [more like love] for that long too. i never knew he liked me before. this last couple of weeks we were both in pep band and sat next to each other. each time we would have a break from the music we would lay back in the bleachers and talk. he would keep complementing me and we would just laugh and be really happy together. yesterday we had a game and we talked like usual then he would start to move closer to me and touch my feet with his. then when we were both on the internet he said that he loves me alot. so then i told him that i love him too and he got very happy and excited. i havent talked to him scince last night but we will on monday.i'm not sure if he will ask me out or not but i have a pretty good feeling that he will. what are your thoughts on this situation? i really love him.

had sex with this girl 3 weeks ago (19 nov). she called me that saturday (25 nov) to tell me that she thinks she missed her period. i wore a condom, i did not c*m, and it did not break. then two thursdays ago we went to take EPT and it said "not pregnant". she claims to not have had sex with anyone else (but I am not so sure). i instinctively feel as though i couldnt have gotten her preg. so we took another test this past Friday and it said "not pregnant". she said her period is usually at end of month/beg of month. she does a bad job keeping track of herself but is pretty certain that its late. she also told me that she has been real worried about both being pregnant and not having enough money to cover her bills. do you all think that I am pretty much in the clear now? I notice that the EPT says that if you do not know your period cycle then its best to take the exam 19 days after having sex to determine pregnancy. With that said I would believe that shes not. Please help me!

im 14, i just had a beatiful. healthy baby boy about six months ago, but i went back to school. and i feel REALLY guilty when i have to leave him with my mom when i leave in the morning with my mom. how can i reduce this feeling??? i know that my mom is taking good care of him, and i spend as much time with him as i can when i get the chance, he really loves his father, and we spend as much time with him as possiable, but i still feel really guilty. plzzzzzzzzzzzzz help me!!!!

It's fairly conclusive now just how important breast feeding is. Apparently, after smoking, not breast feeding a baby is one of the worst things you can do for your child. So, why do so many women decide against it and would sooner give their babies a formular milk? Is it for reasons of vanity and should they be having babies?

Im only 14 and i dont wanna be pregnant any time soon, not within the next ten years if poss. Me and my bf have been left alone, and he has had his fingers places. I am due to have my period on the 17 and I have had VERY thick white discharge. Is that normal? It is VERY thick and I noticed it when me and my hubby were having sex. Could it be a yeast infection or anything else. ( I am positive it is not an STD.. I am married and both of us are faithful) Or what else could it be from?

I am breastfeeding and pumping since I work full time. I work 12 hour shifts and sometimes it is very hard to get in time to pump since I work in the hospital and patients need help now. My son is 8 months old and I really enjoy breastfeeding and the time together. I end up supplementing on the days I work and give daddy the milk i pump to feed him the next day. On my 4 days off I breastfeed all I can but seem to not make enough milk for the day. When I pump I have a hard time letting down knowing that I have to get back to work soon and thinking about my patients. How do you know when to give up breastfeeding? I also thought about just breastfeeding in the morning and at night, but don't know if that will work either. Thank you for your help.

About a week ago, my son started getting up in the night - usually before 12 a.m. He will cry and sit up and in his crib. We wait to go in there and after while we go in there to comfort hmi. He likes to be held and then when we put him down, he crys bloody murder. I don't know if this is a habit for him or if he is teething. I have two older daughters and they never did this so I am a bit confused. If you have any suggestions I would appreciate you answering my questions. Thanks!

have been with my boyfrined for nearly 2 years we have been through so much we are now living in separate countrys and are still going strong .I love him but i dont under stand why people cant belive in that . Yes i no the chances of forever arent huge but there is still a chance.
