there are plenty of different brands but generally they all do the same thing so it doesnt really matter which one you choose...just as long you get the right size i.e. regular, heavy, super heavy etc...i use Tampax Complex...they have a plastic covering which makes it easier to insert

Well if you're young you might want to start with tampax juniors as they're made more for teens. Otherwise any tampax or playtex sort are probably the best to use, and buy the plastic ones - not the best for the environment sure but very much easier especially when you're young.

if you dont know, buy differnt brands. To tell the truth the most comfortable rating wise now is actually Tampax Pearl Plastic,... Tampax is a very good brand. Remeber, try differnt brands, if you are unconfortable in one (you can feel it even when its in all hte way) then move on.

Keep trying different brands until you feel you have found one that is comfortable for you. Start with the usual advertised brands such as Tampax. Store brands as well work great for some people.

I didn't like tampax when I started using tampons because they did not have the applicator tip, so it kind of hurt putting it in. I would recommend "Playtex Gentle Glide" to beginners because it just goes in smoothly. And choose the super, super plus or regular depending on how heavy your periods are.

I know how you feel, my mother just recently allowed me to use tampons. and my grandmother is bouncin off the walls cause shes worried about me getting TSS. but the best thing to use is tampax pearl plastic, its not going to irritate will insertion, but it will still keep you covered,

-hope this helps

I started off with playtex gentle glide. heard Pearl works great too. If your athletic try the new playtex sports ones, or O.B ( it has no applicator.) Cardboard ones are flushable so whatever floats your boat. Happy Holidays

I started off with playtex. I am small by nature and it worked for me. On time growing up, I tried my sisters and they were so huge I could not even use it. And she uses the kotex. Ask your friends which one you used. If you liked using that one it can give you a good start.
