Pregnancy & Parenting - 10 December 2006

I met my husband when I was 2 months pregnant. We weren't married at the time and when my daughter was born he signed the birth certificate and voluntary acknowledgement of paternity papers (what a non married parent signs in our state to acknowledge paternity). She also has our last name. She's now 2 and all of a sudden her "sperm donor" tells me I should give him a right to see her and be a part of her life. She already has a father that's been there since day one and I'm not about to complicate her life for someone that never had the time of day to even call and see how she was or ask what she looked like all this time. Do you think I've made the right decision?

i had miscarriage and d&c 4 month ago, then 2.5 month ago i got pg again.i lost a baby at 11 weeks.Going for d&c.Just scared that after all wont able have baby at all.I dont know how bad to have d&c especially one after other.Is anyone had D&C couple times and had baby after all?

It has been 5 weeks since my last period. I have been slightly nauseated so I took a test and it was positive. My husband says he doesn't believe the test as there are such things as "false positives". I am not on any meds except a prenatal vitamin. Maybe I'm jumping the gun and should wait another week and test again. What should I do?????

My friend has a son who is turning one next week. He can use certain spoons but she can't afford to buy new spoons. ( Long story but she is a single mom). I had found Gerber's Loop Spoons and wonder if they would help. They look easier for a disabled baby to hold and they are also coated on the scoop and handle portion. What would anyone with experience in illnesses such as this suggest for a child this age? I have her tons of plates, sipper cups, bpwls, and the spoons I had from my kids. Everything worked except the spoons. I had basic spoons since I didn't have to search for certain items such as this. I just want to learn as much as I can and buy her the sppons that will help the most.

my boyfriend and i are supossed to go to his niece's 1st birthday party today but his mom and the b-day girl have both been sick this past week and still aren't over it yet.I told my b/f this morning that i wasn't sure about taking our 9 day old with us because i didn't want to expose him to the germs. He got mad at me for saying that because his whole family is expecting to see the new baby. He told me just to make everyone wash their hands and use germ-x before holding him. Then about 15 minutes later he told me that it was up to me if we took him or not(but i know that if we don't that he will be ticked) Am i just being too paranoid about this or am i right to be concerned about taking our baby over there?

My son recently got suspended for stealing another kids crack pipe. However, they did not suspend the kid that owned the pipe. They confiscated it and talked to the two boys, but my son was the only one who got kicked out, they let the other boy go back to class. Why?

My sons girlfriend is 7 weeks pregnant. On Friday, she started to bleed as well as have cramps. Then it stopped. Now she is just spotting. Surely if she miscarried it would continue for a few days, as though she had just got her period. My husband and I have been trying to concieve for three months. We only "tried" this month a few days after I thought I ovulated. I have been sick and on antibiotics for most of the month. Seeing as we didn't "try" when I was fertile, why is my period three days late? Could being sick cause it to be late?
