hello, YES! You may as well pour booze in the baby bottle! Everything the mom puts in her body goes to the breast milk. That mom sounds like an irresponsible skank.

Its not necessarily dangerous, your baby isn't going to catch a buzz from it by any means. But even a shot can cause your breast milk to curdle and that's going to definitely make the baby sick. There's an old wives tale that I've heard that says to drink a beer while breastfeeding, don't do it! Your breast become very soar and swollen.

extremely; this person needs to decide whether or not breastfeeding is for her. If she is not prepared to not put anything in her mouth that she wouldn't put in her baby's she shouldn't be breastfeeding. If she was drinking, who was watching the child?
Can she express milk before drinking so she can wait till it's out of her system before feeding again? drinking and motherhood do not mix

yes it is because what ever the mother drinks or eats will affect the baby. The milk comes from the mother. If she had waited for the drink to get out of her system then no this would not affect the baby.

Almost anything a nursing mother consumes will pass through her milk. Tell your friend that. An occasional beer is known to help in milk production due to the brewer's yeast. However, drinking to excess is just not good parenting.

Everything you eat and drink ends up in breast milk. Therefore, the alchohol will too.

open your phone book and find the number for child protection ( child abuse hot line) in your area..there is also a national one that will be listed also. Then CALL IT! You will be anonymous, so she wont know it was you that called.(so don't worry). That baby could be suffering permanent brain damage from that ****!!!!!
