My sons girlfriend is 7 weeks pregnant. On Friday, she started to bleed as well as have cramps. Then it stopped. Now she is just spotting. Surely if she miscarried it would continue for a few days, as though she had just got her period. My son taking her to the doctor tomorrow, because they are not sure whether she miscarried or just had a bit of a show? Doesnt sound like she did. What do you think. Thank you

I had a miscarriage, after which a little one now not lengthy after, then a different miscarriage. Considering I was once advised I'd on no account get pregnant, I regarded that one a blessing. Two years later I pass pregnant once more, and we had a good time and proposal we would on no account get pregnant once more. Then #three was once born 18 months after #two...WOW! Then #four was once 15 months after #three, then 18 months later #five....we began pondering it was once a few type of cosmic shaggy dog story! #6 was once born 2 years after #five, and quantity seven (we name her seven of 7) was once born 2 years after #6. My SIL additionally confronted a few miscarriages, 4 or 5 I suppose, she stopped telling us after a whilst. She acquired pregnant approximately ten years in the past although, after which popped out FIVE in ten years. So we are each fairly cheerful with our little advantages. I'm sorry to your loss, I do not know what else to inform you besides to hold your hopes up. I on no account proposal I'd be so blessed, and I recall the ones days of dread, each month of praying. We had been complete nuts in the course of our pregnancies, chiefly on the grounds that all of our miscarriages had been after 12 weeks...some distance into the trimester of 'safeguard'.

"The most common symptom is vaginal bleeding, which can range from light spotting to heavier than a period. You may see blood clots, brown discharge or other tissue that is not clearly identifiable. Sometimes a sac-like structure is seen."

Re. the blood stopping, 'surely it would continue for a few days' -- unfortunately, not necessarily. Search for "missed miscarriage," "missed abortion," "blighted ovum." Not to worry you unduly, but -- be prepared. For good news, as well.

dont worry it is common for people who are pregnant to bleed some times. both the mother and the child will be fine and the important thing for you to do is to get your son and his girlfriend married as soon as possible if not things will get worse.

miscarriages are painful and bloody. Spotting or even a little bleeding are normal. If the blood is light colored then it shouldn't b a problem, if it's bright red with alot of pain then its a miscarriage
