im 5 weeks and 1/2 and im having cramps like if im going to get my period is that normal?? please help

I also experienced cramping (with all 3 of my pregnancies). However, if they become stronger (like painful menstrual cramps) than I would advise you to see your dr. It is always better to be safe than sorry. Good luck and congrats on your pregnancy! :)

You really should go back to your Dr. all pregnancy's are different . I have 3 children and it was different with each one. Don't be afraid to share this info(cramping)with your Dr. Some women cramp and others don't, if you are feeling uneasy about the cramping, go back to your Dr.

Sometimes I had those same cramps. When I told my mom about mine, she said tell the doctor because she never had them. So you could do that, but I think they're okay!

I cramped like that well into my second trimester. Dr said is was my uterus expanding and muscles and ligaments stretching to prepare for childbirth. Check it out, just to be safe.

It is VERY NORMAL I had it for like a month or so. I was worried that I was going to miscarriage but as the doc said unless you start bleeding( clots) heavy you are OK.

just before i found out i was pregnant i had cramps in my stomach and i got told that it was normal, but would get checked just incase but all shuld be fine congratz xxx

It could be ligaments stretching. but the buest way to find out is visit your doctor. or at least give them a call! Congrats on you pregnancy!!

yeah i had the same problem the first two-three months of pregnancy.sometimes i used to get them all day long and i was worried but everything turned out fine,its probably just your uterus streching.
