I have chose to stay at home and i have a wonderful husband that works very hard at what he does for a living and we do not suffer in the money department.
So my question is why is it you people look down on stay at home moms? Is it your jealous or you have to work cause no one will help you?

If you live in either Nanaimo, Comox, Cortenay or Campbell River, are these good places to raise kids?
I live in Edmonton and I cannot stand this city, I moved there from Ontario and now I want to move to BC, because it is so pretty and smells fresher.
But I also need to know if its good for kids too.

Either by acting like a brat, ashing his head into the floor or walls and then saying 'oww", he'll even take his power wheels escallade and flip it over to make it look like he was in an accident and say "oww, momma", he has this tendancy to hurt himself to get my attention...WHY???

I am currently 9 weeks pregnant, next wednesday with be the start of my 10th week. There is a girl at work who is one week ahead of me and she is not showing at all. I have already got a small bump, its noticeable where people can actually tell I am expecting. This is my 1st child is this abornmal or do you think there could be one then one baby in there?!?!

esp in public. So lately I have resorted to taking him into the washroom and spanking his bare butt.
Not too hard, but hard enough.
I have tried talking calmly with him (he shakes his head and goes limp with that crap) but I have noticed this asss whipping techinique works for me and for him.
He is a good boy after an *** whipin, he will listen to me once business has been done.
I dont like doing this, but I also dont like having an unruly toddler running around in stores, and sometimes granma needs a break, so I cant leave him there all the time.
Is this a good method, if not, got any oter suggestions.

Actually, I'm not asking in regards to issues with a child wasting energy - I'm asking in regards to a really wasteful childish ROOMMATE! She is always leaving lights on all night, TVs on all night, and most annoyingly - turning the thermostat from "auto" to "on" so it runs 24/7! She is so incredibly wasteful with energy that I'm about to go crazy, and talking to her about it hasn't shown any improvements - infact, I think she's getting worse as a way to get back at me.

So, have any parents used timers on the lights, or a certain way to shut the energy off, or a certain tamper-proof thermostat that they could recommend to me? I'm so sick of paying a $200 utility bill for such a small apartment, I could just puke. I'm desperate for a solution. I'm going out of town in a few days for a whole month, and I'm terrified of how high the utility bill will be without me being around to shut lights and TVs off for her.

I had what I thought to be my period on the 23 of Nov. It lasted just as long as normal (about 6 days) but was much lighter and more brown than usual. Before and every day since my period ended i have had this sometimes clear, sometimes milky white discharge. It comes out in large amounts and sometimes is very watery. My boobs were only tingly for 1 day but I have been extremly tired in the past few days. I have taken a hpt from the dollar store today but it came back negative... Does anyone know if this is this a possible sign of pregnancy?

I just got out of the shower and it felt like I was peeing...but I wasn't. Is this ok. It was a constant stream for about 15 seconds. No blood, no color, no smell. I already called the DR, waiting on a call back. Anybody know if this is normal?
