Because children do not know mentally how and why to use a gun. Protect your children by parenting, spending time with them. Know where your children are at all times. When you are out in public places, don't let small children run off to the toy section while you are buying groceries. Watch your children.

First of all, how do you determine who the pedophiles are? And second, what if the child is wrong and mistakenly guns down the wrong person? I think you will find that law enforcement would consider this a vigilante action and they frown of this type of behavior. If you are having some sort of problem, let the police handle it. That way innocent bystanders will not be injured and the shooter won’t end up in court or jail.

In all honesty I agree with you to a point but unfortunately giving children guns is not something that they need. Children need to keep their youth. One thing I do think though is that the laws should be stronger and the PARENTS should be allowed to shoot the pedophiles. Or pedophiles should be tortured to death. They makes me sick! And to all of you people saying that this person needs parenting classes.....consider them yourselves. This is just a loyal, empathetic parent speaking and trying to ask for some encouraging feedback. Not put downs! What is wrong with you all.

the kid id not at fault. so there is no need to disapline them. but if you no where and what your kid is doing and who they are with then that would really help the situation. but if after you took the time to know your kids and the people who watch them when your not there then the best you can do is not give the gun to the kid. take the gun your self and put it to good use

To the 1st person...A child can have the best parent & get sexually abused by a adult. I see your thinking, however how about we just toss any pedophile on a island with mureders & let them f**k and murder each other, I believe Chris Rock said that in hummor, but it sounds good to me!

Because the children just may end up shooting killing or maiming their own mommy, daddy, brother, sister or some other family member.
