It definatly depends on the child. U should be able to tell or estimate about two weeks to a month before it will happen, ny the actions of the child if he or she is becoming curious and beginning to grav and pull at things while crawling then it is coming soon, but it really can vary with every child dramatically. If ur child seems to be physically advancing quicker than other children his or her age then u know it will come earlier then most and visa versa but i do believe that my pediatritian told me that it has een estimated at an average of 9-11 months of age, when i had my first child.

My daughter did at 6 almost 7 months. She did a lot of things slightly earlier than most. She's a risk taker. She's a daredevil.

depends on the baby...I've seen as young as 8 months and as old as 13 months for starting to do it. most are usually around the 10 month age range.
