Baylor (besides the school)? Thinking of naming our baby boy Baylor John or Tucker Justice. Input?

The name is sweet
But just take one precaution that the short name or pet name should not hurt your baby when he grows.

Don't think I would name my boy Baylor, but the reverse works, John Baylor has a nice sound to it. Remember, when you name a child, any parent should think of as many nicknames that kids in school could possibly come up with and think how those nicknames could possibly make the child feel. Take the name, subtract the first letter then start going through the alphabet substituting each letter for the first: Daylor, Faylor, Gaylor, etc Think it over. Kids can still be cruel..

Like Baylor and Tucker but not with those middle names. May I suggest Nathan Baylor and Tucker Ethan.

Baylor John is great! Also, I've heard Baylan which I liked and is a little more funky if thats something you are into. The suggestion of John Baylor was also really good

baylor is ok, i actually like it! John is a boring middle name though. Tucker may be a bad name for obvious rhyming reasons and i don't like it and justice is too feminine for a male.

I like John Baylor. That has a nice ring to it. But I don't really think you should put the odd name as the first name. Everytime he meets someone he'd have to go through the "I'm Baylor".."Oh, nice to meet you Taylor"...."No no, it's BAYlor". Wouldn't that suck? And Tucker Justice? No good at all. I'm voting John Baylor.

No, never heard of it. I prefer John or Justice. Baylor is just ugly.

i'm not sure i've ever heard that name before, but i like it okay. baylor john is much, much better than tucker justice.
