I have a young friend I am trying to help out. I am making her car payments to make sure they get paid on time since I co-signed(never again) then she pays me. $180.00 per month. She is struggling for money as she just had a baby. I want to help help because she has been a life long friend but I am not giving handouts, I want her to learn and earn her way especially now that she has her baby. I have seen much improvement in her arttitude and actions lately. I believe strongly in "I will gladly help you if I see you helping yourself"!!
I have offered to let her work some of the car payment down (not all) by doing some house cleaning for me.

My question is how much should the cleaning be worth in this case? Should she earn by hour or task? I don't want to end up paying 2 hours for a clean bath tub. I want to sit down with her and work out a clean clear cut earning schedule that we are both happy with so that we are in any misunderstandings.

We are in the midwest. Any ideas?

Well i got two positives and one negative the week after. then i went to the dollar store and got another test and it said negative. now its been five months and im csared bc i dont know for sure if i am or not because im not showing at all.. my stomach looks flat and its hard too... i had sex like aloost everymonths so i am wondering... did i lose it due to sex or am i still pregnant and i am just not going to show at all until the 7th month. i also eat alot too and my stomach bloats out too far now... give me some advice.

I dont know what it is?
Okay... well i had two positives on a test and then one neagative a week after but i had all the prgnancy symtoms and i had sex sooo many time and its been five months and i took another test from the dolla store and it showed up negative but i didnt take it in the morning though. And my stomach looks like its bloating out and everytime i go to the bathroom , my stomach goes down and my stomach just feels hard. i dont look like im showing then but then ill eat alot and then i think i am because of how far my stomach pokes out. then i be wondering if its time that im starting to show. I am a very slim person and only wiegh 110 lbs. this would be my first pregnancy. can anybody give me some good advices or tell me if this is happening to you.

My month-old daughter's pediatrician told me that she is not gaining as much weight as she would like to see her gain. She's nineteen inches and 7 lbs, 14 ounces. (She was 7 lbs, 2 oz at birth.) I try to feed her more, but she refuses anything more than 2 1/2 oz. of formula at a time. The doctor said she should be eating between 3 and 4 ounces by now. What's going on? How can I put more weight on her?

I'm worried.

I'm not happy in my house. At all. I'm 14 and the oldest of two. My mom is so strict. She won't let me wear makeup everyday, only once or twice a week because she doesn' want me to get raped. And when she does, she always critisised it. I can't have a boyfriend until God knows when. I haven't seen a PG-13 moive. My dad wouldn't let me see Mrs. Doubtfire because he was afraid that I would become gay. There is always chores. My mom always complains that I don't fold the laundrey right, or I don't do this or enough of that. I'm not lazy. I do help. But after school, all I want to do is sit on my butt and do nothing for a few minutes.

I really cannot stand this anymore. I'm not happy. And then my mom keeps asking me if I'm depressed. Well. I wonder why.

Are my parents being too strict or is it just me?

My neighbors live right below me and the walls are quite thin, so I hear some of what goes on. Everynight and morning, their baby children cry, yell, scream, and cry some more uncontrollably. They do this continuously for hours at a time. The thing is, I don't hear the parents doing anything, in fact it seems like the parents are not even there by what I hear. I don't know if this is normal. It's really bothering me when I can't sleep, but it also really bothers me because it may be abuse. Any ideas on how to either give a subtle hint or what agency to call (?)...

I'm so excited to be expecting my first child, and I KNOW that I must stop smoking. Lately I've found myself smoking more than usual, what should I do? Cold turkey doesn't seem to be the best choice for me...any suggestions

I had an abortion using the medicine that the doctor gave me. After an hour, the medicine discharged the blood and everything came out. The doctor said the blood will continue to come out gradually for few more days. But after 2 months, I still have blood coming out. Sometimes, I thought it's my menstruation, but it's not. Some days, the blood is so little and some days, it come as if I'm having menstruation, a little more. I've been to the hospital and the doctor said there is no problem. What do I do? What is the problem? How can I stop this bleeding in order to start observing my period?
