I had an abortion using the medicine that the doctor gave me. After an hour, the medicine discharged the blood and everything came out. The doctor said the blood will continue to come out gradually for few more days. But after 2 months, I still have blood coming out. Sometimes, I thought it's my menstruation, but it's not. Some days, the blood is so little and some days, it come as if I'm having menstruation, a little more. I've been to the hospital and the doctor said there is no problem. What do I do? What is the problem? How can I stop this bleeding in order to start observing my period?
Thank u

Go to an OB/GYN and let them know. They will do ultrasounds and other tests to see what is going on. Your body may have reacted to the medicine but it isn't letting everything go like it should. Your period may be in there as well, but I would go see a specialist.

I applaud you on making the correct decision for you! Abortion isn't easy.
That being said, all I can really say is that all women are different. When I had my son, 3 1/2 years ago, I had CONSTANT bleeding for 16 straight weeks after delivery. I was concerned, but the doc kept insisting that I was fine. I've always had really heavy periods my whole 'period life' and so that makes a difference.
As long as you are not in any 'real' pain, and you aren't passing out from the loss of blood, you should be fine.
Good Luck!

You definitely should make another appt. with the doctor. It's possible that you have some tissue remaining in your uterus that will not allow it to heal or another problem may have occured during or after the process. Get a second opinion if you have to. I hope you never have to go through the painful decision and physical and emotional trauma of an abortion again. Good luck to you.

Extended bleeding beyond even a week isn't a good sign. I'd go to either a specialist like others have mentioned, or go to a different hospital.
I'm assuming you used the Pill, and not the dilation and curettage correct?

You have to understand that nature never intended for us to rip our children out of us before they're suppose to be born. Having an abortion is like my car crash. I broke bone several places in my arm... for some reason one of the breaks refuses to heal but yet im growing bone in my elbow where its not suppose to be. Bc of the extreme trama to my arm, my body flipped out and doesn't know how to fix its self anymore. I'd be surprised if they can fix your problem without removing your uterus all together. This is why i wish they would tell women the truth when they go to get abortions. They never explain the real long term problems that can come of it.

I had an abortion about 5yrs ago and they didn't remove the whole fetus... so i kept bleeding.. it was very painful and it was coming out in clots... they had to do emergency surgery on me... hopefully that's not what's happening with you.. but i would go see someone immediately.

This girl is asking for help...not personal viewpoints on abortion.
Go to the doctor again.

Go to another doctor, and make the appointment immediately. Try to time it so that the sympoms coincide with the appointment.
