1in 5 pregnancies end in miscarriage!!! That is a lot!! Actually the number is higher since a lot of woman have what is called a chemical miscarriage. This is when a woman gets pregnant and she doesnt even know it and has a miscarriage around the time she has her period. Usually a woman thinks she is just having a bad period in that particular month. Studies show that most healthy women will experience at least 2 miscarriages in her lifetime rather it is a regular or chemical micarriage. That is sooo shocking to me!!!

'Cutesy crap' = more content in signature lines, which are glittery animations saying "I LUV MY HUZBIN," than actual content, etc. General chit-chat is okay, but I don't need to look at 5000 pictures of other people's toddlers, puppies, etc. Something fairly focused, if that makes sense?

Ideally Canadian, but am interested in peeking at others, too.

Hmm. Don't hesitate to warn me off ones with high levels of 'cutesy crap,' too.

My baby has had diarrhea since Thursday. We had to change him last nite alone atleast 5 to 6 times. He really isn't eating and he is drinking about 3 bottles a day. He has a wet cough with some wheezing. We called our emergency on all dr. and she told us that it's nothing to worry about. We feel she isn't concerned enough. Considering the fact that he is only 8 months old. Today alone we changed atleast diapers already. We feel that maybe we should take him to the ER but she disagrees. She told us that it may last anywhere from 10 to 14 days which we don't think its ok to let an 8 month old go that long with it. Any opinions on this would be appreciated or if anybody is going through the same with any of there kids what r you doing for it? Thanks in advance!!

im in my second month of pregnancy not completely 2 months yet but bout 7 weeks probably i have pinkish so light red spotting i dont even have to use a pad its so little and i only see it when i wipe sometimes there is some sometimes there is none this has been happening since night b4 last it went away then came back yestarday afternoon its so light its like just a coloration when i whipe i have no pain and am feeling normal just a little spotting remember im like 7 weeks preggo do think im ok and i cant see my doc till monday so im just wondering

can i be pregnant when i got my periods the first month (october) then second month they were a week late and when i got them they were really light and the first day it was jut a brownish spot till th next morning then they were mostley brown but some little bits were red.could i be please answer properly. oh and i am not stressed cause if i am i am im just asking this question cause i dont wanna get a test unless there is a possibility thanks.

Since most healthy woman ovulate every cycle then how is one woman considered ''more fertile'' than another? I know that a woman that is younger is more fertile than a woman that is older. Woman that just had a baby are also considered more fertile than woman that havnt. What does being fertile actually mean. Does a woman ovulate more than once in one given cycle? Are her eggs considered better than at any other time in her life?


I just recently had a miscarriage and we were told that I would be very fertile within the next 3 months. They said that if we wanted to try again that this is the best time. I am trying to understand how this works.

I know being fertile means that you can conceive. My question is how is a person more fertile in one point in her life than another when technically she can concieve at both times. I dont know if that makes any sense?!!

i have known my best guy friend for 3 or 4 years and have liked him [more like love] for that long too. i never knew he liked me before. this last couple of weeks we were both in pep band and sat next to each other. each time we would have a break from the music we would lay back in the bleachers and talk. he would keep complementing me and we would just laugh and be really happy togeather. yesterday we had a game and we talked like usual then he would start to move closer to me and touch my feet with his. then when we wre both on the internet he said that he loves me alot. so then i told him that i love him too and he got very happy and excited. i havent talked to him scince last night but we will on monday.i'm not sure if he will ask me out or not but i have a pretty good feeling that he will. what are your thoughts on this situation?

i'm 19 and a few weeks ago i found out that i'm pregnant. i'm really scared to tell my parents but especially my mom. i don't want them to think that i'm like most teenagers and have been having sex all the time. it was just this one time and i really love my bf we've been together for 3 years. i think thats pretty good. he already knows that i'm pregnant and hes actually excited. i think he may even marry me so yeah he's a good guy. but i know my parents are going to yell at me and make me feel like trash.. i men yeah i'm disappointed in myself too but i can't change what i did i can only try to make things better. how can i help them accept it and not disown me?

i like stay with my mom and i want to move in with her because i get depressed at my house and one of my friends told me she didnt want me to because she will miss me but she does because im depressed and im happier there well that means i have to go to court anothe reason i want to is because i need to get to know her side of the family so i guess the real question is should i take my dad to court or wait 3 years and go when im 18. sometimes i think i cant wait 3 years please help.
