I am pregnant and my boyfriend punched me in the stomach!! I was just wondering what whould happen to him and the baby? Could the baby possibly die. Whould he get arrested?

yes, serious things could happen to the baby. Be optimistic and hope that nothing does. Go to the doctor and tell them what happened, also advise the police about it. Was it a fight? Did you punch him back?

I knew a girl that went into labor that way. But she was term. She also had to have an emergency c-section. But no the baby didn't die. Why would he do that?? Also yes he would get arrested for assault. And if the baby died they could possibly charge him with murder or at least homicide. I would run away from him. Good luck

your baby is protected in a bag of fluid, so it takes a pretty big blow for the baby to be affected. It will depend on how far you are.
if he is going to punch you in the tummy then he is not going to be a really good dad, not sure if hell get arrested, but you really should report him, if you dont leave him, when you have the baby you may be at risk of child services taking the baby away

Well he will get arrested b/c that is assulting you and the baby. No girl deserves pregnant or not. You need to dump him and get yourself to the ER to make sure everything is ok. So call the cops or let the ER people know what happened.

but any man that hits a woman is not a man. And to hit you in the stomach, call the cops press charges and throw his butt in jail. He is a JERK.

It's called abuse and, if your baby were to die it could be classified as murder. He would definitely be arrested and would spend some SERIOUS time in jail.
To answer your question could the baby die. . . only a medical professional could tell you. It depends on where exactly he hit you, how hard he hit you, etc.

You need to get out of there and call the police. That is physical abuse and yes you could lose the baby. You need to be checked out. Don't put up with this. If he hits you once he will hit you again, get some help now.

If the blow was hard enough and hit the baby in the right place, yes it could cause injury to you or the baby. If he causes you to spontaneously abort (miscarry) from assaulting you, yes he could be charged with a very serious felony and do prison time. You need to get away from this guy.

A punch to the stomach means a quick trip to the hospital to make sure everything is ok with you, and the baby. As for the boyfriend, time to drop him. A boyfriend does NOT punch his girlfriend, for any reason.This is NOT a boyfriend.

did he punch you in the stomach on purpose? if so then call the police and go to the doctor to make sure the babies OK.
