I am 14 weeks pregnant and have itchy ankles all night long never any where else started from 10 weeks pregnant. Is it another symptom and has anyone else had the same??????????

No-I've never experienced that, but everyone's pregnancy is different...the most I can tell you is the itchy ankles could be due to you retaining water in that area and your skin is stretching due to swelling....

Gosh I ahve been itchy period. I think has to do with dry skin. Try adding cod liver oil pills to your diet, it helps your skin stretch. You could be forming stretch marks...but its kind of an odd location for that. You should have your heart checked too, I have Mitral Valve Prolapse it sometimes materializes when its acting up by making my ankles and feet itch. I use almond oil as a moisturizer, it works really well.

I think you may be dehydrated. My hands get like that too and the skin in my ankles is very dry. Put lots a lotion and drink lots of water.

Maybe use an oatmeal wash for your ankle. Take extra calcium and drink more water. Good luck.

I have the exact same problem. But now it has traveled to my breasts as well. Good luck. Try rubbing lotion on them. It helped me for a couple of hours. At least long enough to fall asleep. Good luck

there is a spray called Bactine its for all sorts of itches and burns etc anyway try it and yes its just another silly "sideffect" good luck and happy babyhaving;)

Its not silly.Try some lotion and see how it works.It may be a symptom by you can never be sure
