James Thomas or the other way around Thomas James... and call him Thomas J. another good 1 would be Thomas Jay
or Jack Bennett or Jackson Charles and call him JC

I am clueless on Jack, I can't come up with anything except jokes. For James however though, I like James Preston, James Griffin.....James Alexander. Ok here is a Jack one, Jack Edward, Jack Russell does sound nice too but its going to get the child teased. Jack Alexander.....Jack Thomas is ok...

My dad's name is James Irvin, because my grandpa's name is Irvin... My cousin's new baby is Jack Allen. It really depends on what rolls nicely off the tongue with the last name. It has to have a nice cadence to it. Good luck! :)

my nephew is jack nicholas (his dad is a golf nut) but there is jack ross, jack david
they don't have to go together .. but with your last name shorter strong names are good. alternatively, you could choose to honour a friend by using their name for the middle name.
i am jacklyn brianne .. jack for my grandfather and brian for my dad's best friend.
