This is day four since birth and baby could well eat his shirt.
When baby latches on, it's only briefly, till he drifts off to sleep.
Is some combination of formula and breastfeeding appropriate.?
Diapers are coming, albeit slow. Mom's nervous;
Dad's a wreck.

She feeds about every 3- 31/2 hours and consumes 6-8 oz. at a time. She weighs 12 lbs 4 oz.

I have a five and a half month old
*she usually eats 6 oz right up
*she sleeps on and off for 8 hrs aday

but for the past two days
she will barely eat 3 ounces at each feeding adn the dr told me when her soft spot sinks in she is dehydrated and it was sinking in but when drank 2 4oz its fine..but
the night b4 last she went to bed @ 10pm and woke up once to eat and then she woke up @ 9am and stayed up until 2 pm then she layed down to take a nap and she woke up twice and ate but then didnt get up until 1:40am then she said up until 3:19am then she is back asleep

she hasnt acted sick or anything
does any one know whats goin on or what I should do???

he also says hes sick when its time to take a shower to you think he really is he gets hysterical crying

i took a ept pregnacy test today and the circle screen showd + but the line that goes threw like this -- was very light but it says they can be diffrent shades..what does it mean? any one have one of those and where pregnant?

i have been trying to concieve for 4 months now with no luck (i know 4 months is not long) is there anyways i can speed the process up? i am taking folic acid and have been for the past 4 months i have been having sex on my supposidly most fertile days, used the pillow method under my bum after sex anything else that i can do apart from BBT and ovulation kits??

Hi. I am a 15 year old female, and im very scared/worried. My boyfriend and i engaged in unprotected sex 4 weeks ago. I am aware it was a STUPID decision..we were caught up in the moment and not really thinking. Well, He was only in for a little while, and i made him pull out at the first sign of "getting the feeling," although he wasn't even close. After that, i gave him oral sex for at least 10 minutes, until he came. I was wondering, what are the chances of me being pregnant? I know i can trust him, and he swears up and down that he wasn't even close, and i even brought up the subject of pre-*** to him. I also mentioned how i read that if the male hasn't urinated since the last ejaculation, leftover sperm could be pushed through the urethra. He says he CAN feel it happen, that it happened while i was giving him oral sex, and that he urinated that morning. (We had sex at about 9:00am.)I've been having stomach pains, but they're not only in my stomach, i also get them in my chest and back, and my ribs are sore, so im not sure if that is a symptom of pregnancy. I'm just VERY scared that i could possibly get pregnant. I forgot to mention that i was on the last or second to last day of my period.

My boyfriend and his guy friends tell me not to trip, but i can't help it! I'm not ready to hae a baby yet, but my boyfriend and i have been together for 2 years and we're closer than most couples. I may be 15, but i realize what a mistake i've made and i know it was a stupid decision. I've talked with him about birth control, and we both agreed that for sure we'll use condoms. We had sex after that time, but he wore a condom AND i didn't let him ejaculate while we had sex.

My periods are almost never regular, and i'm pretty sure that's normal with girls my age, and i've heard me stressing about this (which i have been-at some points i'd just break down and cry, and i assume every ache and pain is because of pregnancy.) I don't know!

For several years we have been trying unsuccessfully to get our middle daughter to do the things we ask. The most common things are that she leaves all clothes (both clean and dirty) all over her bedroom floor along with sweet wrappers, pens, pencils, jewellery, homework, books, ipod, phone, drinks etc etc and all her drawers and cupboard doors are left open. The other thing is that she refuses to go to bed when we ask. She is only 13 and very rarely goes to be before 11.00 and a row! Our arguments get very heated and I've said I'm thinking about leaving home because of it (I wouldn't as I have two other children as well, aged 15 and 10 who are no problem at all). What can I do???!!!

my daughter keeps taking her pull up off and grabbin herself. her area is a little red but only at night after she goes to sleep but she doesn't cry when she pees just when she goes to sleep and wakes up in the middle of the night and grabs her self what could it be?

My ex and i broke up october 3th, we had intercorse september 30.On the 5th and 6th of september i had intercorse with my first. In the middle of the month i noticed my breast started hurting, then i didnt get my period for the month of october. So i took a test and found out i was four weeks and preganant. I resently had an ultra sound on dec 7 which indicated that i was nine weeks and three days preganant. I would really like to know whos the father of my unborn child...

I am one month pregnant (now I have already had a baby a year ago and everything went fine). I know when you are pregnant you get tired and nauseous, but this is different I am tired 24 hours a day I can sleep all day, 8 hours whatever and am still tired, I have a constant headache and am nauseous all day I take tylonyol and it still doesn't go away. I can barely bring myself to eat anything. I haven't lost any weight because I force myself to eat. I am also cold all day (espically my had and feet, I can have the heat at 80 degrees and I am still cold eventually I get warm by covering up, but when I turn the heat back down to like 75 and uncover I get cold within seconds, also everyone says I look pale. I talk to a nurse at my OBGYN office and she said these symptoms are normal and after the first trimester they should go away. But it is affecting my life, I can't take care of my son properly, I can't cook or clean with out having to lay down.

well sep 23 to oct 11 2006 i guess it was my period then oct 17 my cherrie got poped i had made love oct 17 to 27th so i have been bleeding of and on sence oct 27 i went to the er on oct 31 2006 they said it could be implantation blood also my cervix was closed and i 'am still bleeding well i can't get in to see a doctor in till dec 11 2006 because i'am a new paitnent i have took blod test and urine test it is neg the eg said i could have no hcg levels because of hormonal imbalnce well if i am pregnant how many weeks am i now

With children starving all over the world and even in developed nations, why are you so excited to bring another potential welfare case into the world?
But, if you really want to solve the problem, just get all that Catholic money together to do something useful for a change besides encouraging unprotected sex. Hand out cash rewards for gals who don't abort their babies.
If what you really want to do is stop abortions, put your money where your mouth is and make it worth while to carry these pregnancies to term and give the children up for adoption. This way you can solve problems instead of just making them up!

I have been ttc for several months now... I drink very rarely for this reason. maybe once a month. I have reached the point where I am not stressing and just trying to let it happen on its own so I hadnt noticed that I am four days late until today. Problem is I drank several glasses of wine last nite. I couldnt stomach the alchohol and threw it all up and have been sick all day. should i be concerned or worried?

Whenever i have sex with my husband i feel this burning sensation like hell is inside me, i went on a visit to my doctor and she told me nothing is wrong with me after giving me a couple of tests and she told me to drink lots of water, still the burning won't go, i am in pain all the time after having sex... any solution?
