Pregnancy & Parenting - 8 December 2006

My son has ALWAYS been very good about sleeping in his own room from the time he goes to sleep till morning. The past month he hasn't slept more than three hours in his own bed! We have tried to let him "cry it out" and that did not work one bit. He will cry until I finally lay him on my bed and then he is out instantly. I've tried waiting a while after he is asleep in my bed then moving him back to his own but he wakes up and screams the second he is layed down. I don't know what else to do, Please Help!

when is it that i cant enjoy sexual contact!?! i want to be stress free but i feel that even though im crazy safe when it come to haveing sex (birth control) i cant enjoy it, i stress out to much that im going to get pregnent, im 18 and been with my boyfriend for over a year, it seems that every one around me can have sex and not worry, but i cant do that, i cant just have sex and not stress out like crazy! so i stoped having sex two months ago, and i still stress that i will get pregnent from even being around him in a sexual way. if he rubs up onto my leg and i feel wet, i freak out!! am i just peranoid?

We just fixed up our nursery and our home, and were looking forward to settling baby in with us. However, our Lamaze teacher is advising that I will need help for several days after the birth, so moving in with my Mom and Dad may be a good solution. They'll be excited and helpful, but I also expect them to be a bit too controlling.....

my mom is a twin. my grandmother had a set of twins (obviously).
and my aunt had a daughter who had twins. i don't know any farther back then that because my mom's side of the family isn't very close. but anyways i was wondering if any of you would know what my chances of having twins is?

my 18 year old son is possibly planing to have a baby with his 18 year old girl friend, or at the very least is having unprotected sex with her. he also is working out some minor ligal issues. he has stated that he is an adult and can do as he pleases and that we are getting into his bisness and that we should stop trying to tell him what to do. he has a good job but is close to losing it, he gets rides to and from work and at times rides from his girl frinds house to home by mom and dad. he has hurt his mothers feeling many times over his girl friend and she still tries to help him. i am sick of him hurting her and seeing her cry because of him. I have just givin he 3 months to plan and save so he could move out and be the adult he keeps claimeing he is. we both love him very much but as a father I know this is what should be done theres more to the story but not enough space here... what would you other fathers have done? am I being to tough in him?

My husband and I am trying to have a baby? We've been together for about 3 years. And both feel that we want to have a baby boy!! The chart really scares me because I'm 21 and the chances for having a boy are really slim, Meaning the only month that I can (on the Birth Chart) is Jan. next month. I'll turn 22 on the 2nd of Feb. the chart says Boy that month!! But With my birth day being at the first of the month and between cycles!! What do I do?? Please Help!! My clocks Tick'in!!

I am 19 weeks pregnant and two weeks ago I went to my OB and she said that I had BV (bacterial vaginitis) and she perscribed me Flgyl anti-biotics. I took the full seven day dose and felt much better. It was fine for a while but this week I am feeling irritated again. It is a yellow discharge and I am feeling soreness. Could this be a yeast infection that I developed from taking the anti-biotic? I think it is highly unlikely that I would get BV again so quickly and think maybe it is a yeast infection because it is so uncomfortable. Should I take diflucan to get rid of it? I have a single dose tablet and it would be so worth it to get rid of this! Also it takes forever to get an apt with my doctor and I thought why not just go ahead and take the pill to see if it clears up and then if not I can just tell my OB when I see her next week and maybe she can check it again. Advice please? This is such a yucky feeling and I can't douche because I am pregnant!!!

I know what everyone is going to say- I'm too young. I know this lol. My question is, are there any classes I can take OUTSIDE of my school that lets you take home that electronic baby? I'm hoping If I get to experience what it's like to be a mom, maybe this feeling will go away. It's seriously ripping me apart..I want to be a mother so badly, and I know I am too young. So if anyone knows of any classes like that anywhere, could you please let me know? Thanks!

HELP!! I'm due tomorrow and miserable. I've been having some contractions, but my cervix is not doing anything yet. My doctor will let me have a trial of labor if it starts before tuesday, otherwise I'm having a repeat c-section. I will take any advice anyone can give. Send me your old wives' tales, folks!

He usually eats a surprising amount for 18 months. The last three days at least he's almost completely stopped eating. Even the things that I know he loves. They say that 2 or 3 tbsps counts as a serving and I have been lucky to get him to eat 2 or 3 tbsps total for the meal. No matter what it is. Should i get his throat checked out seeing as i have had a sore throat for the last couple of days? Or should i give it a few more days?

I am pro-life and I had a question for you? If I have sex with someone that I know that will probably get an abortion if she comes pregnant, am I accessory to murder of my and her child.? I want to have sex with this girl and will use the proper protection, but its not 100% effective; If I know that she will have an abortion if she becomes pregnant because I choose to have sex with her, would I contribute to my son/daughters murder. Someone that is in to the bible hardcore, said I would because I could have prevented it by not having sex with her? He says god may even see it worst for me just because I know abortion is dead wrong. Of course, I would never want her to get an abortion. If she had an abortion because I couldn't control my hormones, would the sin also be in my hands, or would I be free and clear. What do you think? Would my hands be clean, or would I be an accessory to murder?

I am having trouble with my 6 year old. He is just not showing any interest at all in reading. I know it might just be a "boy thing" but it is starting to effect his grades in school.
