It is not common to have a second shower, some consider it tacky! I have a daughter and son 2 year apart, my mother suprised me w/ a "welcome baby" party when my son was 1 week old. Family & friends gave us alot of "boy stuff" clothes, socks, sleepers etc. And it was really nice and almost everyone klnew we had all we needed so they purcased the clothing up a size or 2. But it was fun...maybe throw a hint to your mom or a friend that you would love that. Also familay & friends were told gifts were not required it was just to meet the new baby but everyone brought something & my son was passed around the room, lol.

I had a baby bathe for all 4 of my toddlers. such as you, I now no longer had the previous toddler's products once I had the subsequent one. (My 1st 3 toddlers are 5yrs aside, the third one became right into a girl and then my final baby is 7 yrs youthful than my daughter.) If people choose to grant you a bathtub then enable them to. the rule is which you do no longer provide your self a bathtub. yet...It makes much less issues which you will could purchase. I see no longer something incorrect with having a bathtub for all your toddlers. Is the 1st one the only individual who's assume to get this actual therapy? i do no longer think of so. lower back interior the day while people had a baby 10 months to a twelve months aside, you probably did no longer could have yet another bathe considering you nonetheless had the toddler stuff and maximum toddler products have been unisex-white dressing robes and diapers-yet in recent times maximum people wait a pair of years or greater between toddlers, so which you eventually finally end up wanting to alter each thing from the 1st or next go around. it is not written in stone to have basically a million toddler bathe. the people who say which you will no longer have yet another are the two stingy, advise-hearted or purely did no longer get extreme-high quality bathe presents themselves. ha ha ha. that's what you may say to the destructive people. giggle it off and enjoy your bathe or Showers.

Yep I feel that way too. I'm having another boy, buts its been over 3 yrs since my son was a baby. So alot of the baby stuff that we had we gave away or got rid of since we don't have the space right now.

I just made a registry at babies r us and told family and friends if they want to get anything for this baby that I do have one.

i had another son 2 yrs after the first one and wasnt expecting to have a shower but my friend talked me into it but called it an open house instead we did the same basic things had food played some games listened to songs that all had the word baby in it during the open house but everyone had a good time and go to talk to my oldest son about the new baby coming and brought some lil gifts for him to was very enjoyable and helped with the new baby on the way with gifts that were recieved so go for it i dont think its tacky if you are cautious how you approach people about it ........... and congrats to you honey!!!

I agree a second baby shower is like begging. But if you really need one ask a close friend or a family member to throw one for you.My cousin has six children with one on the way and I kid you not she's had six showers. So you're situation is not that bad.

You can have a second shower. Many women I know have registered when they had more children, since coworkers, family, and friends wanted to buy gifts. Things that they registered for was diapers, onesies, blankets, necessary things that they needed.
