Pregnancy & Parenting - 8 December 2006

I just stopped taking the pill about three days ago. I was hoping to maybe get pregnant right away. Now I have started bleeding. I read that this may be "implanation bleeding", whatever that is. Does anyone have any experience with this? Is is possible to get pregnant that quickly? Or do I need to wait until after Ive had a normal period? Or do you even ovulate that soon after getting off the pill? Ive never gone through this before! Please advise!

I paid 5 dollars for One picture with Santa... It was at my Sons school. It was going to be today.. My son got up this morning soooo excited that he was going to see santa... And Im excited for him.

When he came home I asked him about it... He replied angrily, " Santa wasnt real! It was a girl santa! It was fake !" WTH? I called the school and asked if this was some sick joke and now my son is questioning santa, and he thinks im a lier now.. what are they thinking? Do you think this was wrong? I asked for a refund, but I just cant get over that b/c they couldnt find a santa, they still took the parents money instead of Postponing it like they should have. I called up there and everything, they dont care! they never care.

am i pregnant? i had unprotected sex on nov.2 my boyfriend said he didnt *** in me but latly i have been having signs of being pregnant (throwing up,tired most of the time,i been eating a lot,ive notice a little hump in my stomach,i sleep alot now). but he said he didnt *** in me. my period was 5 days late when it did come on it was light but still like a period. so does that mean i could be pregant? i been having many of the signs of being pregnant,and i havnt been trying to think about it so i know its not all in my head.my boyfriend said that if i am pregnant he will support his child.so could i be pregnant??

About 3 years ago, i got pregnant for the first time, i was very excited and couldn't wait to have the baby, unfortunatly i miscaried before i could even hear the heart beat, i had to tell everyone that i was no longer pregnant and that really sucked. About a year later i got pregnant again, and i didn't tell anyone except my husband for 3 months. I now have a happy almost 2 year old. I am now pregnant again and I found out three days ago. We have told our parents, but i am afraid that now something will happen, because i am sick this time like i was the first time i was pregnant,. We are so happy and excited that we want to share our great news with everyone, but we don 't know when it will be safe, we just want to know when the chances of miscariage decreases. Please help, cuz I am worried!

My first doctor appt is Dec 19th, my last period was oct 8th. yes i took a home pregnancy test and it was positive. my breast were sore, but are not anymore. and i havent had any vaginal bleeding or cramps, but you know how some people get crazy symtpons while pregnant.......I havent. and i was starting to wonder..

My boyfriend and I had sex today....he has put himself inside of me before, but never this far inside, and never with the thrusting. When he came, i noticed a lot of it got on the skin *down there*, but I don't know how much of it *if any* went inside of me. I am not supposed to start my period until Dec. 26th, and I just got off of Birth control. Its been about four weeks since I was last on it. What do you guys think are the chances I might get pregnant? Though I am not sure if any of his sperm went inside of me, my friend said that the fact that it got on the skin, it could swim inside of me. Any advice would be appreciated. My 13 year old daughter's teacher is behaving terribly toward her.

My daughter is a very independent and quiet girl. She gets good grades and doesn't have emotional issues. However, I suppose it is because she is so quiet, her teacher has decided she must be "depressed". He has suggested counseling to her and has asked her if she cuts herself. This has made my daughter uncomfortable and she is very put off by him, probably adding to his suspicions, because...

Today, another student was acting very quiet, and her teacher asked, "What's the matter with you? Are you on drugs? You're acting like her", and he pointed to my daughter.

I made an appointment to talk with the principal on Tuesday. Is it a violation of her rights if they ask to see her arms?

She sleeps in shorts and is sitting next to me in a tank top right now, and I assure you there are no markings on her skin.

My wife and I have 2 boys together. Our first boy couldn't have been better on potty training. Our second boy however, is going to be 4 yrs. old in 2 1/2 mos. and pees occasionally, but will not poop on the potty. Any suggestions? We've tried siiting him on the potty every hour for a half hour at a time. We've tried the corner, no snacks, bed, no TV, ETC. and nothing seems to work. Please help!

I am a mom-2-be & no longer with the father-2-be. I plan on moving back home which will be in a different state than where the father lives. I want to have complete custody of my baby but allow the father to have visiting rights. I strongly believe that if the mother is stable than the child should not be taken away from the mother for too long up until the child reaches a certain age. Am I wrong for feeling this way? my neice is 8 years old. she goes to a public school in san dimas. Whenever she comes home she is always sayin that this boy likes her or this boy is always pickin on her or touchin her or w/e. Its not any sexual abuse i mean they are her friends. But i think she is growin up way too fast. She barely even knows any kids songs.

Well I finally did it today. For 3 months my husband and I have been threatening our son with a spanking. He has been completely out of control and this really was a last resort. We've always tried positive reenforcement, we've tried grounding, taking away his playstation and didn't get the results we wanted.

He broke a car window this afternoon and then lied about it even though his friend ratted him out. He then smarted off. I sent him to his room and told him he was getting spanked. I was thinking he might be too old for this but we've tried everything.

Anyway, I got up there and he immediately started struggling with me. I finally sat down and got his pants and underwear down. From a maturity standpoint he is still a little kid and seeing him reaffermed that. I pinned him good over my lap and let him have it. I spanked him about 15 times and judging from the fit he through he was sorry.

I have 2 boys 11 months apart. Ages 2 and 3. I have been wanting another baby since my youngest was maybe 4 months old. My husband originally agreed to try for our third child in September when my youngest turns 3. I told him I couldnt wait that long and he agreed to try in June. This morning he said he doesnt want to try till next November. I got all upset because I have major baby fever. I dream every night of being pregnant or holding a new baby. I got all teary and he finally agreed on June. But he was angry and didnt want to talk about it. June seems so long already to wait for but I dont know how I feel now. Our older son will be in preschool and Id really love to try in June. My dh said I was being selfish by wanting one even though he doesnt. Im the one who is going to be pregnant, and take care of the baby. I get no help from him with our 2 boys and thats fine. But I just feel bad that he got all upset over it. Any opinions welcomed. I dont know I just feel that its the right time. If we got preggo in June my youngest would be 3 and a half years apart from the next. I think that is spaced far enough apart.

My son is 6 weeks. When hes not being held he freeks out. Its not like we leave him in a room alone or anything, hes right there with us the whole time. He hates his swing, wont sit in his baby chair that sings and vibrates. He really is not content unless hes being held. We have daily things that we need to do and its very tiredsom having to sit and hold him all day. Any suggestions? He does sleep yes, but latley hes been up for like 4 hours at a time! HELP
