Probably the weirdest memory of my grandparents was when I was at their house and my grandma would make me sit on the phonebook. When I was too small to sit in a normal chair at the table she'd make me sit on it. I don't know WHY I remember that, but I do...
Anyway that's my memory..sitting on the phonebook...and then probably being beat with it later if I acted up :-)

This may sound funny, but a fond memory of mine is when I would stay the night over at my grnadparents house. I would get to wear one of my grndpa's long shirts to sleep in. The most vivid thing I remember is waking up to them sitting in the kitchen The smell of coffee would be strong and they would seem excited to see me. I don't know why but that is just a very happy memory of my grandparents.
Now my grandparents are older and my grandmother is really sick. Things aren't the same over there bu those memories just always make me feel warm.

I used to spend my summer breaks with my grandparents on their farm, I got to feed all of the animals, and help pick beans and dig potatos for dinner, and take walks in the mountains. I only have my grandmother left she is 90 now, it is just good memories now. My parents never had the time for me, my grandparents actually enjoyed having me around.

My grandfather's both kicked the bucket nicely earlier i became born. it truly is a shame. :/ My paternal grandmother... i do not remember her, yet my admired memory (it really is recorded on tape) became her training me to stroll. I had a large head as slightly one and did not locate the thanks to stroll till i became particularly a lot 15 months previous. She taught me to stroll at the same time as she became ill with breast maximum cancers and died very shortly after. :( My maternal grandmother only celebrated her eightieth birthday in August and continues to be going reliable! I really have such quite some tremendous memories which includes her. She's the most nicely study individual i understand and he or she is so amazingly smart. at the same time as i became little I loved going to the book position which includes her because she'd purchase countless books to study to me and my cousins. As I were given older only spending time which includes her and listening to all her memories has been the perfect. She's finished of them... they're so tremendous and that i comprehend she will be in a position to no longer be the following always so listening is had to me. :)

My grandparents found me in a dresser drawer when I was 4 months old and have been my angels ever since. Grandpa is gone now but grandma is still my hero. They used to take us kids camping in their motorhome and gave us more love than I can ever imagine anyone having. There's not enough time or space to answer this question..... :)

Oh man...
Well, honestly, one of the best is sitting in bed with full make-up on (age 8, maybe) eating Butter Pecan Ice Cream and drinking those Cokes out of the bottle with my Granny.
The worst? Walking in on my elderly grandmother while she was urinating standing up. Learned later that her arthritis was so bad that she did this to spare her the pain.
I wasn't spared, though...
That same grandmother, by the way, taught me the 23rd Psalm. And the grandfather taught me to stand on my head and tie my shoes.

I am the youngest of 3 in my family and every summer my Grandparents would take each of us camping at different times so that we all got to be the centre of attention.

My grandparents have a pig farm in northern Iowa. One winter me and brothers and sisters were visiting them and we were playing in the snow out behind one of the pig barns. All of a sudden there was this huge black ape coming up over the snow bank and running at us. we all took off running and screaming (ended up trampling over my poor brother). When we got to their house my grandma made us hot chocolate as we retold her the story of the giant ape that tried to attack us and waited for my grandpa to come in. He tried to play like it wasn't him but she walked over to him put her hand on his back and whispered in his ear. He then gave up and told us it was him who was dressed up as the ape. I remember thinking how cute they were and seeing that even though my grandpa was a strong farmer my grandma had power too.
